The 911 at Dutch Bros ā Caffeine, Cravings, and a Crush Iām Not Over
Okay. So Iām a 42-year-old single man. I own three pairs of the same jeans, I say ābroā too much for my age, and Iāve accepted that my metabolism clocked out in 2016. But none of that mattered the moment I rolled into Dutch Bros and met the 911āa drink so powerful it made me rethink every life decision that didnāt involve coffee or romance.
SIX SHOTS OF ESPRESSO
I donāt even remember ordering it. I blacked out somewhere between āwhatās good here?ā and āoh god, itās in my hand.ā This drink doesnāt just wake you upāit resurrects your ancestors. I took one sip and heard Latin chants. I took another, and suddenly I was fluent in QuickBooks. I donāt even own a business.
Now letās talk about the orange cranberry muffin. I took a bite and had to pull over. I actually said, āWhoaā out loud, alone in my car like a man seeing color for the first time. Itās not just a muffināitās a tender little citrus zinger that hugs your mouth like it missed you. The cranberries arenāt those angry sour pellets you get in sad grocery muffinsāthese are sweet, juicy, little fruit bombs from heaven.
But hereās where things got interesting: the girl in the drive-through. Iām not saying I fell in love, but Iād let her name my next pet. Bright smile. Sparkling eyes. Called me āhey youā in a way that didnāt make me feel like a guy who still uses Yahoo Mail. I donāt know what was in her energy, but I left wondering if she was an actual Dutch goddess sent to caffeinate the lonely.
I drove away 100% caffeinated, 90% in love, and 10% sure I could bench press my car. Thatās 200% total, which is exactly what you get with this drink and muffin combo.
So if youāre single, tired, hungry, and maybe emotionally fragile, pull up to Dutch Bros, order the 911, grab that muffin, and be prepared to feel everything. Itās not just a coffee run. Itās a full-blown character arc.
11/10. Would sip, snack, and fall...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere is always a long wait Time (a very popular place) so we were excited to see only 3 cars in line ahead of us š however the wait was the longest one I've experienced, the worker was clearly engaged with a co-worker, family friend, or personally aquatinted with the people in the red car at the front of the line. After about 10 minutes another worker came out and took the orders for the 3 other cars including ours, then several other workers came out to visit the red car occupant. The 2nd car received their order but were unable to leave as the red car was still taking with the original worker. Finally (20 minutes later) the red moved to the window and the girl returned to her duties of taking orders ( about 6) as cars were beginning to stack up behind us. It was at least another 10 minutes before the red car finally left the window and the 2nd car was able to pull out, we arrived at the window expecting our order to be ready, it was almost 5 more minutes before we received our order (3drinks). The girl in yellow seemed to be running the entire shop as almost all other workers were standing around. This young lady is always good at her job every visit I have been to at this location she is focused on the customer service and very pleasant. This was Wednesday (6/15) evening at about 7pm . With all the new places in town opening up with drinks to try, 45 minutes is way too long to wait for your drinks, especially when I can see the disregard for the customer and employees are not interested in doing the job you are paying them for. Remind them that they are visible to the people in the lines and their actions are a reflection of the business. They came outside to visit the people in the red car and left their work station while we were waiting for service in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI totally am a Dutch Bros Fan! I have driven hundreds of miles just to visit a Dutch Bro's (Twin Falls, ID). I liked the cool selections for the summer but I have to take a star away because of the chick who skipped our car and ran to her friends car to take and order and then chatted it up with that car for so long the other gal took our order and the car behind us and I want to say at least 3 cars went through before that chick moved on. It makes things inefficient when the staff is choosy about who they serve. I think the main thing that is great about Dutch Bro's is they are efficient with getting people in and out quickly. If one person decides to pull some shenanigans it throws off the vibe! I did love the featured drinks: I ordered the Campout Cold Brew with no chocolate but added caramel. I did keep the chocolate milk base. It was super great the taste of the soft top was almost a marshmallow flavor. I am totally in love with it. I have tried the blended cabana rebel with soft top from my kiddo and it was awesome too. Only caution is the dippy chick who threw off...
