Went to Arby's at loves gas station February 11th 2025. The young lady (Bree) at drive thru has no customer service skills. All she said to us is May I take your order. We gave our order she took payment at window handed drink said nothing waited about 12 minutes for our food note no one else in drive thru or inside. When she came back to window with our food she handed to my husband by the side of the back and ripped and all the food bon the ground. She walked away you could hear her tell kitchen it happened again. She left us hanging didn't come back to the window tell us remaking the food nothing. I went into the store said your really going to leave us hanging us at the drive thru saying nothing what we supposed to pick up our food or what going on? One boy said she had to let the kitchen know so they could make again. I said I understand but she never said anything to me the customer just walked away left us setting there. Bree standing there grinning and smirking thinking it was funny. They said been having trouble with bags busting open that night. Told them having no problems getting it to the window or to the front desk the common denominator is Bree she is handing it to the customer from the side ripping the side out not the bottom of the bag. She still grinning and laughing causing this business money. The food dropping was not the issue things happen. The issue is Bree how she treated me the customer walking away then ginning and laughing about it all. This young lady has no business in customer service you should be ashamed hiring anyone like her. What is worse the management also didn't seem to care the boy was better at trying to defused the situation he apologized for her and she should have been the one to step and do that but cowardly stood my the fries laughing and grinning.hr said they were remake out order and would have it out...
Read moreLet me premise this by saying the service I received today was not typical of this location. The food quality is usually decent and the service has always been great until today... I can only assume that Heath the shift manager is trying to get fired. It's either that or he is absolutely horrible at customer service in which case he should be fired. I admit I wasn't in the best mood, in fact I was hangry and was hoping to cure that with a meal. I saw something new on the drive thru menu and inquired "What is a loaded Italian?" The answer that Heath gave me was "Exactly what it looks like...." Followed by silence. Now it looked like it could have been ham or turkey with either pepperoni or salami, it claimed to loaded so any combination of those was possible. A simple description would be the very least amount of customer service expected when asking such a question. That was entirely too much to ask of Heath. In fact, even when I decided to go inside and try again (admittedly aggrivated) he not only didn't apologize but he still wouldn't describe it and he doubled down on the rude factor by saying he didn't think he needed to explain anything and blaming me for asking the question wrong? I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was on Jeopardy. He then stated he wasn't going to stand there and get lectured, turned his back and walked away.
Everyone has a bad day now and then and I know he was in a hurry to go drain his bladder. Maybe that justifies acting like a smart alec. Maybe that explains treating a customer as if they are stupid for not knowing your new menu. Or maybe Heath should seek a new line of work that he would be more suited for like the postal service...
Read moreEasily one of the worst experiences I’ve had and it involved one woman in particular. The people taking our order were kind & efficient, so I feel bad if that is someone they have to work under. She seemed to be the manager or whoever was in charge at this point in time. Not only was she rude to us but was extremely aggressive and belittling of the other staff as well. After getting my order wrong, I asked for the right item and she lectured me that I should have ordered the right item the first time. When I stated that I had ordered the correct item as I always have the same order, she rolled her eyes and walked away from me. I assumed she would come back with the corrected order. I waited an additional 10 minutes with no corrected order & went back up to ask. We were met aggressively with the same lecture, told we needed to get to the back of the line, demanding a receipt, and her once again walking away in a huff. A kind man working the front counter eventually came back and gave us the corrected item. Our friends that were with us also had an item missing from their order and when they went to get it corrected, the same lady aggressively demanded proof, rolled her eyes, and came back slamming the food on the counter. I would have given 1 star simply for her actions and behavior towards us, but only added another star because the rest of the staff seemed to be kind, helpful, and willing to correct our problems.
