My youngest daughter and I were coming home from a trip to see my oldest daughter in Topeka. My youngest was feeling a bit ill and said she was hungry enough to try some soup. After hitting everyplace within a mile of this little deli she spied it off to the side. A little tiny itty bitty deli surrounded by cars with local plates. With nothing to lose at a deli we figured the place would have soup and whaLA we were right. They also sliced the meat in front of you and it took me to NYC in the atmosphere of this place. I love it. I absolutely love it. The soup was hot and fresh, you could taste the 🥦 and 🧀 each one and it melded together PERFECT. I am a deli freak so I ordered the 8" #3 sandwich on white. The bread is made there and it smells divine. We picked up our order and it was quite reasonable at 24 bucks with soup and drinks and the sandwich was so incredibly well made I called my son in law and tore him a new @$$ for not telling me Topeka had one of these places nearby. It makes Subway look like taco bell to a fine cantina. Each ingredient from meat to vegetable was fresh, well put together and not sloppy. The best deli I have been to in years other than the east coast NY or Jersey. I can't say enough good. If I hadn't been driving I would have a plethora of pictures to offer. Goodcents makes damn good sense. Try it and...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. When I eat here, I usually utilize the drive thru. However, tonight my family and I went inside to eat dinner. There were 4 teenagers chatting in the back, who finished their conversation while we stood there waiting to order. The drive thru worker was texting as he was taking orders. They were out of nearly everything, the lobby was disgusting and I had to use my own baby wipes just so we could sit at a somewhat clear table to eat. None of the lids or napkins were stocked, and only a few straws. Despite it being a very slow evening it appeared, none of this was being done and when they were finished with our order they continued to talk and text in the back. Where is the adult supervision? After seeing what the inside of this restaurant looked like, I will not be a returning customer to this particular...
Read moreBetween 6-7 late teens were working when my son and I arrived about 6pm. They were all so distracted by each other's joking around they could not keep our order straight. I repeated the order on 3 separate occasions, face to face. The napkins were empty and when I asked for napkins I was handed 3. I asked for more since my son is 7 and kinda messy like most his age. The guy handed me 1 more. I asked for 6 more and he seriously just walked away from the counter! Our toasted sandwiches were cold in the middle and while we ate we had to listen to the employees play their videos while sitting in booths...
