A week ago I spoke to who I assume was the manager about two of her Employees giving customers wrong information on their Bogo and how one customer was upset as she has been customer with the brand a very long . In addition to waiting over 10 minutes for our drinks to even be started because the girls were gossiping with another girl that was off of the clock about the other employees as we stood there. The manager assured me that she would speak to the girls as she knew the two that I was talking about.
The next time I return Sept 10th the taller girl first name starts with a A last name H, Was working and was working and was very shallow with me. I took it. I brushed it off as she was upset because her manager spoke to her. Okay big deal life goes on you learn and you correct the behavior.
The following day, Wednesday September 11th at 5:17 I returned , as soon as I walked in girl at the register walked away and asked the girl she was working with to serve me. The other girl looked lost and said okay. She was extremely polite.
I return again, see the manager and let her know About both situations. She told me she had spoken with them and I told her I can tell she had spoken with them because now I’m going through this with them she said sorry and she would speak with them.
Today Wednesday September 18th I come at 6:03 as soon as I pull up, the employee comes to the door turns the sign on the door to closed. I couldn’t believe my eyes, ( this was the same employee that refuse to serve me and ask the other girl to) so I sat in my car and watched how people were pulling up shocked that the business was closed and then leaving.
This has to be the absolute worst employees that I’ve ever come in the contact with not only are they do not advertise your specials correctly.(they are telling customers that they have to buy two drinks in order to get one free) when Bogo is buy one get one free. So customers are leaving with one drink instead of two because they think they don’t have the option to have a free drink unless they buy a second drink,
They are rude and extremely unprofessional, and now causing your company money because they are upset that a customer reported them. Each time I returned after I was still extremely polite to the girls. The manager knows exactly what two girls I am talking about. The other staff is absolutely amazing. There are days I sit and talk to these girls and guy and have great conversations. I’m sure you have cameras so I have given dates and times so you can look for yourself!
Your company definitely will not have to worry about me coming back to this establishment as a business owner myself I would be appalled, and there would never be employees like that representing my company to make your customers feel so uncomfortable all because they are not doing their jobs correctly. Update 2/16/2022 & 11/28/2023: Prices increased a little at beginning of year, but very affordable as compared to other similar establishments. Plus, the cleanest and best decorated coffee establishment in the larger NW region. My favorite: Frozen (blended) Campfire Mocha & sub the milk chocolate for with white chocolate.
From 10/21/2021: Caribou is hands down the best coffee/tea place in town. The drinks are always great & the barristas are always nice and willing to help customers with drink selections. Plus, it offers great spaces to talk, work, or even have a small meeting... Keep up the good work! Oh, and try the campfire mocha blended (frozen) and ask to sub the milk chocolate for white chocolate. Chris, the manager, is very nice, helpful and knowledgeable to myself and others. She even suggests new items on the menu.
