New China Super Buffet — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

8/24 update. I came in today about 2:30pm. The place was definitely busy. The food(other than the Lo Mein) was way better as far as freshness goes. The only thing I’d recommend is keeping any eye on how long some of the meat is cooking because some of it was pretty dried out. But overall the flavor was great(Other than the Lo Mein)! I did not whip the food boy with a noodle, because it’s not his fault. It’s the noodles themselves. My recommendation would be to switch the type of noodles you’re using. I recommend using the same type that is over near the hibachi grill. I think it would be a night and day difference. As far as the service goes today, I’d say it was average. Nothing spectacular. However they were busy so I’m definitely willing to offer a little grace. I’ll take the lower level of service for the higher quality food. As far as the hibachi goes, it wasn’t horrible. Chef was pleasant. My vegetables were underdone to my liking, but I’m sure they would have cooked them longer if I asked(I didn’t ask so that’s on me) My personal opinion is, it could have had a little bit more flavor. But overall it was okay. I’ll be coming back.

08/17 I’ve been reading the responses to the reviews. Are they professional? Not in the slightest. However, they are hilarious. Let me give you an honest review from my personal experience. I came about 2:00pm this past Saturday 08/17. The place was extremely clean. The lady up front running the cash register and answering the phone was very friendly. The price was reasonable. The waitress was phenomenal, she was constantly checking on me to make sure everything was okay. As far as the food goes, It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible either. I tried the spicy chicken, and peppered pork. There was one more thing I tried, but I can’t remember what it was right off hand. If it would have been fresher I feel like it would have been better. The Lo Mein was terrible there’s nothing that could have been done to save it. The fried rice was really good! Overall, I’ll give this place 4 stars. I will be returning during a rush and giving the food another shot. Might try the hibachi next...

TERRIBLE service and food... never get refills, foods not to temp, and they're always rude. Two horrible experiences, the first time we went a friend of mine got food poisoning. Second time we arrived about 30 mins before it switched to dinner, we paid for lunch and sat there eating and talking- while we weren't paying attention they put out some dinner items. We went up to get another helping and I got some items from the other side that I hadn't been to yet, I guess I ended up getting a dinner item accidentally and was immediately confronted! Standing in front of everyone eating, still at the buffet she confronted me and started asking if I paid for dinner, I answered that I paid for lunch and didn't know this was a dinner item since it wasn't labeled and apologized. She continued to argue with me in a loud voice, enough that 2/3 of the customers had turned to watch, and then demanded that I give her my plate. She took the plate that I had already handled and placed the food back into the bins. Not sanitary at all because while I didn't touch the food, I could have touched the plate before it was added. I was horrified by both her actions and her attitude. I will never go back again and will make sure none of my friends do either. Save your money and...

10 years ago it was amazing and yesterday was even better! New Super China Buffet was closed for a few months due to construction. Yesterday I was able to try it for the first time in months and I was blown away by the variety and quality of the food. The buffet had a vast selection of dishes, including stir-fry, sushi, and much more. I particularly enjoyed the General Tso's chicken, which was perfectly crispy and coated in a sweet and tangy sauce. What impressed me the most, however, was the quality of the ingredients. Every dish was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were authentic and well-balanced.

The service was also excellent, with attentive staff who kept the buffet well-stocked and the dining area clean and tidy.

Overall, I would highly recommend this 5-star Chinese buffet to anyone looking for delicious, high-quality Chinese food. Whether you're a fan of classic dishes or more adventurous flavors, there's something for everyone at...
