Saint Joseph, MO Hardee's I really wanted to give you guys a good review! I really did! We used to go there all the time for their burgers but the past number of times have been pathetic. Tonight was our last straw. We are DONE going there. We will not be back! We waited 25 minutes in the line of fours cars to get our food. We ordered two simple meals. Made it up to the drive through window to see 7 employees standing around eating without gloves by the food warmers laughing with each other in uniform in front of customers (you could at least do that out of customer view)! I don't mean to be preachy about the Covid issue but none of them were wearing masks over their mouths or noses the ENTIRE time we sat at the window (all were wearing masks around their chins). Also those seen coming in and out from the back with customers food NONE of them were wearing gloves at any point!!! Correct me if I'm wrong but that is a BIG health violation, pandemic or not! Anyway back to the food... We received our food only to find they COMPLETELY messed our order up after they verbally confirmed with us exactly what all we ordered was in our bag. Sandwiches and fries were BARELY warm but we were told at the window we were waiting on our sandwiches to get finished cooking (hence the long wait). This isn't the first time this has happened to us either, but it will be our last with them. I'm done giving many second chances in hopes of them just having an off day. I used to work in fast food, there is NO reason it would take that long and sandwiches to be BARELY warm! The sandwiches have been cooked but clearly sat in the warmer WAY too long so they were all dry, salad on the sandwiches was a pathetic wilty mess. One of our burgers was even missing half of its patty!! Fry containers contained no more then 10 of the smallest fry pieces in a small fry (almost half the container was empty space). All of this for two full price "meals".. Went home to remake the sandwich ourselves. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!! Would have went back through to have them fix this mess but we don't have another 25-30 minutes to waste on their excuse for cooked "fresh" food, with their lobby being closed that wasn't an option either to show them the mess they consider acceptable for customers. Would rate less then 1 star if possible!! We will be taking our business across the street to Culver's or even make the drive further down to Wendy's or Five Guys from now on where they actually know how to make burgers right, reasonable with their time/worker ratio, are polite, and know how to treat faithful...

When I got home I discovered there was no meat on my sandwich. I was annoyed and returned to the store, after waiting my turn in line and and waited while the manager waited on a couple people in the drive thru. I showed the Manager my meatless burger, she did not apologize, she turn and went into the lobby, I asked where she was going and she abruptly told me she was getting the employee who made the sandwich, the employee said okay we will get you another one! I was sure that was that! I asked the Manager to remake my fries, as they were cold. She firmly said,NO, the fries were hot when you left here and of course they were cold cuz I went home and came back!!! Me: and why did I do that? Cuz there is no meat on my sandwich! She informed No one would make a sandwich w/o meat in her store!! I asked he if she was calling me a liar, who would take the meat off and drive back to get another sandwich! I presented the meatless sandwich to her! She just kept repeating there was meat on It when you left, I watch her make it!! I promptly dumped my bag on the counter and ask her to show it to me! She told me to leave the store! I requested her supervisor’s name and number she stated she was the Managet! I asked for the District Managers number, again she refused! She told me to leave or she would call the police! I invited her to do so and I waited! Finally I left, resolving to call Corporate! She said he was a man of his word and stated all my or would be freshly cooked because I had to wait for the Nashville hot sandwich I ordered. I thanked him for his good customer service treatment and I would return because of it. Needless to say I read the sign regarding the bag meal it said 5.99 I was charged 6.99. I never saw or was told that the 5.99 is for a small. The food I order was the nastiest food I have ever eaten for fa's food. NONE OF IT WAS HOT AND FRESHLY MADE. My fries was mixed with other fried stuff even burnt black scraping of something. The bread on all the sandwiches except the Nashville was so hard I couldn't bite it. That Nashville had so much mayo it dripped off the sides and was hot about it. The ham and cheese was smashed like a pan cake and the ham was only on one side of the bread. The doubled cheese was black around the edges and almost the size of a half doller. The is the worst food I ever eaten. I don't like wasting my money on crappy food. I should had stuck with my regular purchase. Wasted over 15.00 for nothing. Thank you
