Hazel's Downtown — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

We decided to go here yesterday 6-22, since it was close to our Airbnb & has good reviews. The lady working couldnt be any less friendly than she was. Rude honestly. My friend ordered our coffees & i was going to order food separately. I stood there waiting for her to come take my order but she never did. Even after she got done with the coffee. Which was a disappointment all in itself. I got a basic carmel macchiato iced. Not easy to screw up but somehow she managed. My friend said hers tasted like it had been watered down. She ordered something & added additional flavors. Needless to say we won't ever be back & went & got food from pizza tasico. I would definitely recommend them if you want great...

After hearing so many good things about the coffee I thought I’d go in and try for the first time. The owner is so sweet and it was a pleasant environment. Just sad that the coffee didn’t give off any flavor. I got the smoked butterscotch frappe and couldn’t taste it at all, same with my mom she got the French vanilla frappe. Had the convenience store style sushi with a Jones orange soda. Fairly good. Limited parking during the day; meant for the downtown area residents and workers. Atmosphere pretty good. Bathrooms are big and spacious. Would be a great hidden place for studying during the day for college students wanting to get away...
