Longboards Wraps & Bowls — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

Got their 619 wrap with garlic potato salad side and an extra side of their spring roll. The spring roll is the best thing I’ve tried. The spicy peanut sauce is great. I also did like the garlic potato salad, though I can see how it would have too much garlic or salty for some. The 619 is great. Their main menu items default as wraps so specify if you want the bowl. I had their pink lemonade from the fountain, which seemed watery which is fine as a palate cleanser. Parking tip: the parking immediately in front of the restaurant is 15 minutes only, do not park there. I might be slightly biased because I’ve been going to LB for nearly 20 years. Always loved it. Never had a bad experience but this was awful.

I bought a wrap and a bowl. The bowl was loaded with half a bottle of sauce and undrained noodles. Had to remove 75% of the sauce. Terrible texture, flavor ok. I should have taken it back but got it to go. Thought it was a mistake but I ate the wrap later and it was swimming in sauce as well. I hope thats not the new training protocol.

On top of that, the employee was very slow to get to the register, very low energy, no smiles, and barely any words. I tipped out of habit, not service.

I haven't had the chance to go to this longboards in St. Joe but I have been to the longhorns in Liberty several times and the one on north Oak a handful of times. Very happy with those two. It's a nice change of pace for your appetite and a real cool hip atmosphere. I can't think of anywhere else that you'll find food like this. Bring your appetite. The food is filling, heavy, dense. I recommend people to at least give it a shot. There's so many things to choose from on the menu that you need to go several times to find a go-to meal.
