I began attending ACOT back in July of 2009 and have since attained two degrees through their curriculum. The first being an AAS in Network Administration-Information Security and the second a BAS in Information Systems Engineering-Networking and Security. Prior to finding this University I attended many others during my time in the Marine Corps and prior. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a school that cares as deeply for the success of their students as well as having the curriculum and classroom setting that provides such an intellectual, connected, and engaging environment. The school strives diligently to maintain high standards while ensuring that it keeps current with modern technology and innovation. I have recommended studies at this school to many colleagues, co-workers, friends and service members over the years and will continue to do so. I may even continue my education here in pursuit of my Masters. Run!!! don't walk RUN!!! From this school. My boyfriend and daughter both started around the same time in 2020 and both have left due to not being able to access their school assignments as well as lack of communication from anyone at the school. My boyfriend couldn't access his excel homework until after the class ended. Oh they gave him an extension but still could access all of the assignments for every week. 1 class he had to redo assignments that he completed due to the switch to mind tap for all assignments. My daughter has been trying to stay in and she has completed a week but for 4 weeks she has been trying to contact someone from the school about her grades/classes and today when she stated she is withdrawing someone emails her back straight away. There are no live lectures anymore everything is prerecorded with the teachers who recorded them not there anymore and the new teachers don't know or don't care about the mistakes / issues with the recorded lectures. My experience with the administration, faculty and friendly staff was second to none over the last few years. Being a veteran I was looking for a online program that worked with me having a normal day to day job with trying to accomplish another degree.
