Bar none, the worse McDonalds and likely worse fast food option in Southwest Michigan. An ongoing "system" problem has disabled their ability to accept cash, you have to use a kiosk and pay with electronic means (so they claim). On the rare occasion that cash is accepted, employees try to talk you out of your change. It's an uncomfortable position that no patron should have to deal with. The counter area is always filthy, the floor is covered with grease often creating slip hazards. Tea dispensers are never at the soft drink fountain, always behind counter where an employee has to interact with your drink. The result, all ice and very little drink. The employees are not happy to be there and it's often on display for all to see. It's not uncommon to walk in on employees in the middle of an argument or arguing with customers. Frequently, consumables such as napkins, straws and large soft drink cups and lids are not available. It's not uncommon to pay for a large drink and have a cashier hand you a medium drink cup. Food handling and prep are questionable, hash browns and French fries are seldom cooked and the meals seldom appear as shown on the menu. Meals are thrown together as if prepared by a child then poorly wrapped and thrown in a bag. If your order is correct, buy a lottery ticket because it's your lucky day! The kitchen area is often a mess, food on the floor, then tracked throughout the sitting area by employees. The lack of cleanliness is concerning, as it can lead to bug and rodent infestation and sickness. It's clear management and ownership couldn't care less about customer service, as ongoing issues have not been resolved or even addressed. It wouldn't surprise me if the local health department takes action. You certainly don't get what you pay for at this particular McDonalds. Comments will be forwarded to...
Read moreThere comes a time in every man's life when he needs to take a look at himself in the mirror and wonder how exactly he reached such a place. You have to truly ponder what decisions you have made along the way that brought you to the place of your final reckoning.
It is still unclear, even to me, why I purchased an egg and cheese sandwich. What drove me to purchase such a thing? What part of my soul felt so empty that I thought an egg and cheese sandwich could fill it? When I look into the boundless depths of my own loneliness, I see a pool of deep reflection. My face isn't there. There is no face. There are only tears in that pool, tears of shame, loss, and confusion.
If it were up to me again, I know I would purchase it in a heartbeat. I know I would load it up and eat through the countless calories so I can have a single morsel of eggy cheese goodness, which is readily available anywhere. Yet, despite the abundance of egg and cheese sandwiches waiting in the ether, I still chose to purchase this egg and cheese sandwich here and devote hours of my life to it. That time will never return to me. It is lost, just like my soul. And just like the time itself, I fear I may never find it again.
There is something broken within me, something that desires sensation beyond my reach, something that whimpers every single night with the knowledge that there is no true egg and cheese sandwich. It is merely an illusion. In my pursuit to find meaning in this long life, I sought the colorful lights and sounds of a world that only exists in a pop-up window on my computer.
I am unsure what the moral of this review is. I am unsure about my place within the universe. All I know is that no amount of egg and cheese sandwiches can cure the vast rot that has...
Read moreIâve had an incredibly frustrating experience at McDonaldâs lately, and I feel the need to share my disappointment. On multiple occasions, Iâve tried to order 10 McChicken sandwiches from this location, only to be met with one excuse after another. Sometimes they claim theyâre out of patties, other times they only have five available, and occasionally, Iâm told theyâre short-staffed. Itâs even been suggested that I call ahead to order, which just seems unreasonable.
I understand that things happen, but this is not the service I expect when Iâm paying for my food, especially when Iâm willing to tip. This has happened four or five times now, and itâs getting really frustrating. The worst part is, Iâve had to go to other locations just to get the same order because this one always has an excuse. I shouldnât have to drive further to get what Iâve paid for.
What really gets to me is that the staff member at the window always gives me these excuses, even though heâs not the one making the sandwiches. Why is he the one offering up reasons every time? He doesnât have control over the kitchen, yet itâs always him telling me about the problems inside the restaurant. Itâs just baffling why I keep getting these excuses when all I want is to place a simple order.
Itâs honestly not that hard to stock up on enough patties, or ensure you have enough staff to fulfill orders. Iâm just looking for a straightforward experience, but every time Iâm left feeling like Iâm asking for something unreasonable.
I hope McDonaldâs takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues. If youâre not able to fulfill basic orders consistently, thatâs a big problem. This situation needs to be resolved â customers shouldnât have to jump through hoops to get what...
