Wendy's — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

We've been on the road with horses since 9/18/24. Once in a while, we need a quick stop for something hot and fast .... sigh.

I asked the cashier if I could have "light" salt on our fries. We're a bit older and have been given the strong suggestion from our PcP to cut back on sodium.

The cashier turned around and called Kaysha's name, as she was standing at the fry station. They were maybe 5-7 feet away from me, and I heard her ask this girl if she could make us some fries with light salt. I kid you not, KAYSHA rolled her eyes, made a horrible face, then looked directly at me. So, I politely said, "KAYSHA, don't worry about it. I saw your reaction AND your face. We'll take the fries as they are." She exclaims, no, it's OK, I don't mind.

KAYSHA, you DID mind, or you wouldn't have given the reaction you gave. At some point, KAYSHA, you must learn that when you work in the SERVICE INDUSTRY, at times, you have to forego your personal issues, thoughts, needs and desires to tend to the immediate need of the customer. I personally dont think we asked for anything unreasonable.

At any rate, we run a successful horse ranch in the Southwest U.S . If we had people on staff like you, we wouldn't have a good customer base. Work on it...

The food tasted like it was made hours before I arrived ,just awful.....,I ordered a double cheeseburger w/bacon, fries, and a drink . When I got it the bun was hard like it had been left out uncovered and the meat was cold not even Luke warm, I hate to complain but I did take that back and ask for a hot cheeseburger,the girl looked at me crazy and said what's wrong with it ? I asked her to please make me a fresh cheeseburger. She said ok I'll bring it out and tossed the other one in the trash , 3min later she had another one exactly the same .I guess the grill wasn't working that day . I didn't complain , I just wasted 6 dollars on a lunch I couldn't eat !! Definitely not Wendy's I remember. Won't ever go there again. Do not waste your money. The tables were dirty and...

Went through drive thru as the lobby is closed for remodeling, ordered 1 sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich and 1 bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich cost of $6 and some change, got home and opened bag and wife asked what I ordered and told her but she didn't see either sandwich 1 was a sausage biscuit only sandwich was dry and my sandwich was a chicken bacon biscuit and if we didn't have other things scheduled I might have returned but we didn't have time. You want $15 hour for someone to throw a sandwich in a bag without any consequences then pay attention to your entire job's from start to finish or stay out of the kitchen area and clean table's. Sandwiches were dry and tasteless, glad you made a sale...
