Ya know. From my understanding, this place has gone through some waves. I haven't tried it yet but when I went today, 10/08/24, it was good! Karen/thai style, so it has a hint of sweet to it. We ordered: Boat noodle 9/10 - Good broth. A lot of noodles. Quality was pretty good and I've had boat noodles from around the cities. Chicken wings. Great dipping sauce. Their batter was a bit crunchy, but it tasted fresh. Not day old and or refried. Pad kra paw 8/10 - Simple, not over powered. Some places either have too much salt or too much veggies/meat. It was a good mix and the sauce was simple. Fried Spring rolls 7/10 - it has meat! Not a lot of places will have meat in their eggrolls. This place has it. It goes great with that chicken wing sauce! And an off menu, raw laab 8/10 - special order They don't make it, so you will have to beg. Good seasoning, a hint of sweet to it, and spicy. No other way to eat laab. Overall, 8/10 I didn't have a bad time and the food was good. The pepper dipping sauce was GREAT with the chicken wings, eegrolls, and I even poured it over my pad kra pow. The boat noodle broth was pretty good. Deep flavor and by the looks of it, real blood. A must. Eggrolls was typical in flavor, but it has noodles and meat, cabbage and carrots. Not one over powered the other. Skin crispy and I dipped it into the chicken wing sauce. The side dish, raw laab, was a special request and it was not bad! Spicy, sweet. Loaded with herbs and a bit of sour which is legitness. I would come back.

Cashier/waitress greeted right away and told us from across the room to seat anywhere. Water was given quick. And our food came fairly quick within 15-20 minutes. However, our food came warm. Their pho broth was mediocre. It tasted similar to instant pho paste. When taken a whole bite of pho noodles and meat, there was no flavor. It was disappointing. There was a great variety of meat; beef brisket, meat ball, and sliced beef. The wontons would be a hit because there’s lots of people who love a lot of cream and it being sweet, however the wontons came out room temperature and the wrapper got tough to chew and there’s so much oil residue in the cream. The roast pork basil stir-fried would be a hit too, if it wasn’t so salty. Maybe the roast pork was seasoned already, but even eating it with rice did not subside the saltiness. Loved the sunny sided up eggs. The banh mi.. picture speaks for itself. I did not enjoy it. The bread was very dry and there was only mayo. I ordered the combo and menu said it comes with meat ball but only had thin deli meat and meat loaf.

My biggest issue isn't the food actually, frankly I enjoyed the food. The biggest issue is the service. We had a group of 4 people and got there on a Saturday afternoon and although it was a bit busy, we were able to get seated right away. We were told that someone would take our order as soon as possible, but after sitting for about 10 minutes nobody came over to greet us nor to take our order or even to bring us any water. My friend had to get up and wave someone down because we were ready. I decided to order the five dollar boat noodles and a rice dish called Khao Kahn Mu. So again, we waited for another 20-25 minutes and again nobody refilled our waters nor gave us any updates on our orders. But after some time, the food finally came out. I finished my boat noodles but realized that I was missing my Khao Kahn Mu rice plate and as everyone was already done eating, I no longer wanted it. We asked someone for some extra napkins and they never gave us any, we had to go to the bathroom to grab paper towels for ourselves. So we got up to pay and as I got up to the counter, I told them that I never received my rice plate and that I only got the boat noodles so I didn't want to be charged for it. The guy working at the counter didn't even bother apologizing for the mishap and all he said was "Ok". So I paid for my boat noodles and left them without a tip because they didn't deserve it. I understand that on the weekends it can be a bit busy, but I also noticed that they had enough workers walking around to serve their customers and too many times I see that a lot of them just hanging around in the back or behind the counters not doing much. The food was good but it took way too long for it to come out, even the appetizers. We spent nearly two hours there, needless to say that we won't be back...
