Michael's Pizza — Restaurant in Saint Paul

I don't typically review negatively when I have a bad experience but my experience was so bad I should of just requested a full refund but it was late at night and I was counting on Michael's Pizza to satisfy my hunger. unfortunately they did just the opposite. At first I was estimated a 20-25 min wait online after placing my order for pick up. I arrive on time to get my order to be told it's going to be about an extra 15min. which I was like yeah fine no worries. it was Friday night of course it's busy. Well 30 minutes go by and im like okay well its not that busy let me see what's going on with my order. I am then told my wings have been delivered they are in the process of making new ones and im like okay how much longer....needless to say I got my food a hour after I was supposed to and it was cold, over cooked and honestly not even worth trying to eat. only good part was the cheesecake.Even the wings I waited for could of been better..I was not impressed. I understand restaurants are busy especially on weekends but this experience was terrible. I spent a good sum of money and is just depressing when I think about it. Also having 2 people working kitchen and a delivery driver is not enough staff for a Friday...

Ordered there a few months ago late at night when my sister was over, which was good they where open. The delivery driver mixed up our pizza with someone else's, just a plain pepperoni. I don't do red sauce so I ordered an alfredo Canadian bacon with mushrooms. Also had wings and cheese curds too. Once we realized it was the wrong pizza we called the driver back and he said we'll have credit for the next time we order under my sisters phone number. Well tonight we tried to get a pizza that would've been our reimbursement for the mix up before. The lady on the line said they have no recollection of that and that "they don't have any male delivery drivers" I'm disappointed that I couldn't get my pizza tonight, I don't order out much but this was just a big let down that they didn't give me the credit that i was told we where going to get. not sure what’s up with all the negative reviews lately, honestly trolling a local business isn’t cool. me and the fam have been ordering from Michael’s for years and it never disappoints! the chicken tender meal is so satisfying, a cheeseburger — you definitely cannot go wrong! and pizza... pizza nights are the best! especially with how safely they have been trying to manage around covid. just remember they are a small business just trying to get through these crazy times just like us.
