Taco N Madre Taqueria Y Cevicheria — Restaurant in Saint Paul

My spouse and I have been loyal customers here for over a year but we will never go back after our experience tonight. We ordered ahead and were advised it would be around a 20min wait. We arrived to pick up our food after more than 30mins and our food was not ready. When we arrived there were 3 people ahead of us who ordered in the line. We got to the cashier and asked for our food but it was not ready. We then watched as the people who had just ordered were served while we waited 20 more minutes for our food. We finally received our food and it was not what we ordered. Which then cause us to have to wait another 20mins for our food to be fixed. Due to this major inconvenience I asked for a soda on the house and was met with “no it’s a taco special would you rather pay full price for your tacos?” Very rude and uncalled for when they were the ones who messed our order up. This will be the last time we ever spend a dollar at this establishment. BE WORNED DONT SPEND...

I had the oysters covered with ceviche and my husband had the mussels with clams. Although my dish was flavorful, I could not taste the oysters. I absolutely love oysters, that's why I ordered this dish. The oysters were the smallest I've EVER seen in my life! Some of the shrimp from the ceviche was bigger than the oysters. However, the ceviche was good. My husband's clams and mussels, again, flavorful, yet the smallest mussels and clams we've ever seen. The vegetables overpowered the seafood, because they were so small. This place isn't hugely overpriced, but, for the price, one would expect decent sized shellfish. The portions were not small by any means, I would've taken a smaller portion rather than small seafood. This place is getting two stars for food, because of that. Me and my husband went there to eat supper we both ordered the same thing Menudo waited 30 minutes they brought us our Menudo and it was burnt I was pulling big burnt pieces out of my menudo looked at his Bowl it was the same thing I gave it back and I told her it was burnt she had an attitude we waiting for almost an hour for the same thing and I was going to get my money back but she came with the menudo already it was so thick it was like almost gravy the beers were old tortillas were hard when I was eating a little bit there was a street person in there watching I used to eat there a lot last year I will not be coming back to that place she was mopping the bathrooms and then came out mopped the dining room floor with it I don't know if they changed owners are what but I'll never go back to their places that place...
