On Saturday, April 29, 2017, I called the Imo's on St. peters parkway at 5:27 pm to order a pizza for pick up. while placing my order the employee asked my name 3 times, not a big deal it was loud and they were busy. I asked what the specials were and after telling me I ordered an xlarge 1/2 pepperoni and bacon and 1/2 cheese. He told me that the coupon wouldn't work for that so he would have to charge me full price. I explained that he can ring it up as 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 bacon, but to make sure it was made correctly. he told me my total and stated that it would take 20 mins, I arrived a about 10 mins after, around 5:40. I could see that they were extremely busy. it took them several mins to locate my order on the computer because they got my name wrong. After they located my order, I paid and waited. I watched several people come and go that arrived after me get their orders, I just figured they ordered before me on the phone. There was, however, a man come in after me, place his order and received it before I received mine. It is now 5:55 and I still don't have my order. I asked where my order was and was told that it will still be a few mins. I waited until 6:05 and said "I have been waiting for almost a half hour for a pizza I ordered at 5:27, I would like to know where my food is." the older black haired lady said "it will be a few mins. as you can see, we are extremely busy!" which by the way was said in an extremely snotty attitude. I said "there have been people that ordered after me that have their food already" and received no answer. about 5 mins later 6:10, I was handed my pizza and was told that it was 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 bacon. I advised them that is not what I ordered and that I waited for 40 min to get the wrong pizza. I received no apology and they took the pizza away and started to make me another one. At this point I have been there for almost 45 mins. I still did not receive an apology and to had to tell them my order again to be sure they made it right this time. which by the way, I had to tell them 2 more times. By this time you can guess I am pretty aggravated. I finally received the correct pizza at about 6:20. and went to walk out the door, again I received no apology, compensation for my wait time, refund, or anything, but did receive a very snarky "Your Welcome!" from the same black haired older lady. I wanted to go back in and say something, but by this time I had been there almost an hour and just wanted to leave. I don't normally complain about these this sort of thing, but this is not the first time I have had an issue with this location. There are plenty of other pizza brands in my area and that are a lot cheaper for the amount of food you receive. I mean $20.00 for one pizza is sort of ridiculous. I'm not sure this will even be read or be taken care of, but I felt the corporate office should know what some of their franchise owners are up too. It will be a long time before I order Imo's pizza again, and as a St. Louis native this is really...
Read moreOn Saturday November 18th I ordered a pizza for delivery. I gave them my card number over the phone. The pizza arrived & was very good. So why the one star? Well, I’m making a purchase with my card the next day (Sunday) and it’s declined. I couldn’t understand why. I looked up my account on my on-line banking and yes there was plenty of money available. On Monday, I called my bank and found out that I had a Security Hold on my card. Apparently at 2:30am Sunday morning someone was keying in my card number for a $74 purchase at a Redbox. The fact that my card was being keyed in manually at that time of the morning for that amount in a Redbox set off alarms and the bank killed the transaction. Guess where the only place was I used my card on Saturday? Imos Pizza. I called and asked to speak to the General Manager of the store. Gave him the info on the purchase after explaining what happened. He was supposed to get back to me but as of yet, I’ve not...
Read moreI Arrived for pick-up and my order was not quite finished. I mean- I ordered it from the parking lot- I didn't expect it to be STARTED, much less finished- ha. Nonetheless, Joel , one of the drivers, apologized and offered to run it out to my car as soon as it was finished. I appreciated his kind offer but politely declined since I had no problem waiting for it. I struck up a conversation with some of the associates there, Tony, Kate and Leah- who were absolutely delightful. SO friendly to me and so professional and efficient with the other customers who came and picked up while I was waiting. I was pleasantly surprised and frankly a little amazed at their mastery of multitasking and teamwork. The pizza, garlic bread, gooey butter cake, house salad and provelone bites were amazing - especially when delivered with all the smiles! Top notch! I SHALL return! ps - Give...
