This is probably THE most authentic Filipino food experience I've ever had in the entire metro, and it's in St. Charles County! This is a very humble outlet store in an unassuming location which also sells freshly baked Filipino goods such as Pandesal, Guinataan Bilo-Bilo, Binangkal, Bibingka, Sapin-Sapin, Spanish bread, and their famous garlic roasted peanuts that my husband swears by is the best in the metro.
If you're missing home like I do (because I can't find food this good other than California), please come here and try! Greeted by a cheerful young lady when I walked in (both times). Having never been I used my normal method of picking by asking the staff for their recommendation and she was ready to provide. To my surprise she asked if I was looking for savory or sweet. To be honest I showed up looking for sweet unaware they did entrees. This was a most welcome surprise.
Ended up with marinated porkbelly, noodles, and rice with an ube (purple sweet potato) ensaymada and mango drink. It was delicious and filling.
On second visit my daughter and I got ube cheese pandesal and regular pandasal. To accompany this we got the citris and tropical drinks.
