This was simply a bad customer experience. I ordered a pizza and a drink from the website, the website did not work as intended. I hit the submit order button, it tried to process the order and then the screen refreshed with no updates. I get a text message alert saying my credit card was charged for $37.67 and did not get a confirmation text or email- even though I clicked the button to opt in for that. I call the store, but ended up getting routed to a call center for Pizza Hut… okay… then I politely asked to speak to someone about my order… she says okay, I’m then put on hold for nine minutes… okay, still not that big of a deal. A young lady answers the phone and I can hear her asking, presumably a manager, my questions and he’s telling her what to say. I explain the situation, and they told me I must have sent it to the wrong store, I confirmed the store number from my credit card charge, she confirms that’s her store number and then I confirm her stores address from the still open order screen in my phone in my hands…. and she again confirms that is accurate. Website didn’t send the order to the wrong store, it just didn’t send the order at all. I’m not sure why the store attempted to route the issue somewhere else and put the onus on me try to track it down, and I’m really not sure why I wasn’t simply offered to take an order over the phone and get the issue fixed right then and there- I wasn’t looking or even hoping for something free or discounted here, just looking to order a pizza for my family for Sunday night dinner. Read moreThe “manager” Katie was a literal joke. I walked in and asked if anywhere was good for me, my dad, my son and husband to sit. She said I’m not allowed to sit. There is no sign on the door, or anything indicating understaffing. My dad who is an elder man says “can we please sit, we will clean up the mess, and tip you” and she loudly blows up into a tangent about how she has been awake since 2 in the morning, has kids and doesn’t want to do it all. That was her reason for refusing service. I then asked if I could get a general manager’s name or phone number and she called the police telling them we were being loud and hostile with her, so I get my phone out and record it saying “I’m recording this so I can back myself up to the officers and to your management when the time comes since it looks like I’m dealing with a compulsive liar.” I made my husband and my son go get in the car. The police were there and even said “if she is refusing service, I do not have any power to help although I would advise you and your friends/family to not give your business to this place if this is how they want to treat people” as a regular there, I will NEVER EVER AGAIN step foot in this place. When I called the store their solution was for me to wait another 45 minutes for the rest of the order (I live 10 blocks away from the store). Since this was a store mistake and not mine, I requested to talk to the store manager to see If there was any possibility to speed up the second delivery, worst mistake ever, the lady I was transferred to has no manners at all. I was expecting a "good afternoon, my name is such such, I apologize for the inconvenience" but instead I received a "I'm sending someone whenever I can". After I requested a name and made this person aware of the STORE mistake, this lady replay to me "I don't have to apologize, you want the rest of the order or not?". I decide to say yes, I do want the rest of the order (I paid for it) and requested an ETA, the "MANAGER'S" answer was "I'm telling you that I will send someone out whenever I can" Of course, after being treated like my business is not good enough for them, I made the "MANAGER" aware that this store has lost a customer and her reply was "that's fine with me, I don't care".
