I really hate giving one-star reviews, and I'm really not one to complain... But there's just no justifying anything higher than a single star for my takeout experience at this restaurant.

Simply put, a takeout order for $100 of food was placed at 6:37pm. Pickup time was listed at 7:07. Food was not in hand until 8:06.

I watched probably 4-6 dine-in parties come & go during my wait. 'Come & go' as in sit down, get drinks, order food, get food, eat, pay, and leave. Start to finish, crackers to mints. In the time it took to wait for my order, I could have dined in 4-6 times over.

Upon opening the food, I was sorely disappointed at the portions, considering what I paid. The meal pictured was $100. Is that $100 worth of food? You decide. No discounts or complimentary food were offered for the excessive wait.

It was delicious! A shame, though, because: a) I just can't order from there again. b) Everyone was still hungry!

In all fairness, the food is good. But will you wait 60+ minutes for it? Strong possibility. Will they comp you anything if you do wait insanely long? Nope. Will you get a good value for your money? No, you won't.

There are better places with bigger portions and faster takeout times just down the road....

The food there is okay and the service was kind. I've had better and more flavorful but still a good place to go. Why I chose two Stars instead of four or five is because a 6 year old child, of one of the family members who works there allowed him to sit in the main dining area playing on his laptop blasting the song "Baby Shark" over and over more than multiple times, extremely annoying considering the child sat to the table directly to the left of us. The mother nor the grandmother, and yes I know this to be true because the child addressed the women as mother and grandmother whom failed to stop the child from playing the music which was loud in the dining room area or escorting the child to the back instead of allow the child to continue to be disruptive. For that reason I will not come back. Yes it is their restaurant and they have the right to do whatever they want but as a customer I choose not to come back because of the interruption and lack of peaceful relaxation. I know it's cultural but not here paying such a high-dollar meal, lunch, for...

1st time here since the change from Thai Kitchen to Viet Thai Kitchen. Prices were a little high for some of the food offerings. Not sure if the lunch and dinner pricing are in proportion to the difference in portion size. Our server was blah, no real personality. She was a young gal. The lady who brought our food was very cheery and nice, like she wanted to serve us. Ordered my favorite Tom Yum Noodle Soup and the Spring Rolls with Beef, which are both pictured. The soup was a perfect balance of spicy, sour and savory. The seafood consisted of shrimp, fish balls and squid. It also included ground chicken and a type of mushroom. The Tom Yum was yum yum! The spring rolls appeared to be made to order, as the rolls arrived very fresh and sticky. The beef was nicely seasoned, sliced thin and thus easy to eat and chew through, however, another slice would have been nice for the price (2 for $6.50). Overall, the food was as expected, price a bit high for the area and...

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to eat with my companion, we weren’t super impressed with the overall experience but we did not experience anything negative with the dining or service. The dining space was a little boring, not a lot of decorations or creativity in the seating area. The food itself was a very ordinary kind of good, we really enjoyed the appetizer of crunchy cheese rolls. My companion got the steak vermicelli bowl and I had the seafood pho. Both dishes were very good portion sizes, the fish in my dish was almost overpoweringly fishy, I did not care for the fishball but that might’ve just been an authentic thing that I don’t care for. One thing I especially enjoyed was the green tea, they bring it out in a tin pitcher with little cups, it was very good with the meal. In summary I would probably be interested in trying something new rather than return here again, no wow factor to make me want to come back.
