How Could Yolanda and Shay both work there still? After reading previous complaints about them I completely understand why they describe Shay suddenly becoming very irate. After getting a phone call from one of my employees telling me that the front desk wouldn't let him check in because they didn't have his voucher. The voucher is something usually we need so we can pay for the rooms through a third party company called Corporate Lodging. I knew that I had sent the vouchers to an email that was given to me by one of the front desk attendant. And what confirm that for me is that to previous employees have checked in just fine. So I asked my employee if he can pass the phone to one of the front desk attendant so I can ask for that front desk email again since I was not at my office and didn't have it with me. When he passed the phone over to her and she said hello and I said hi and we were both speaking at the same time and I asked is this Yolanda? She became very upset and started to yell at me and said no this isn't your Londa this is Shay! Now let me tell you how things work here you need to fax it. And I said wait hold on and try to explain to her that I am nowhere near a fax machine again I am not at my office. But I could not even get those words out she began screaming saying, "NO YOU HOLD ON! I can't believe how rude you are if you're going to keep talking over than I can't help you either you fax it to me or he doesn't check in it's as simple as that! And oh my God I can't believe you're still talking! As I'm just trying to get a word in! And I kept saying excuse me excuse me! Hold on just a second I'm trying to tell you! And she continue to scream and said no no no! You are so rude! When I couldn't even tell her what I was trying to tell her? She even gave me the phone back to my employee and he was in complete disbelief. He was like wow I don't know what her problem is she just blew up. So I explain to him what I needed but there with him came down one of our employees that was already there. I guess that she was explaining to them that whoever provided email is not there right now and they don't have access to an email. I don't understand why this had to turn into such an ugly phone call. I don't know what her problem is but especially after reading previous reviews I can definitely see what your former guests are speaking. Now I'm not writing this review in hopes that the management will contacting you compensate me or do any sort of action of discipline towards the employee because it seems like nothing was ever done before. So to you management if you being to each an individual complaint you have on all of your Google or Yelp reviews it makes you a better overseer. Let me let you know now that it does not. What makes a better manager is that your guests are happy and respected. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be spoken to like that especially considering I have five different employees currently staying at your hotel for weeks at a time. As comfortable as they are I have no problem and changing their stay the next time we have a project in Missouri. Just as we found you I am more than sure we will find an even better Hotel period I am absolutely appalled at the way your friend desk is and if what had happened previously with Shay in the previous review below then I do not know why you still have her working there. I already left the general manager a voicemail she has yet to call me back. Again I don't think that they will do anything. In regards to Yolanda she was the first employee that I had a bad experience with. She's absolutely emotionalist and speaks as if she does not want to help at all. I simply called to extend the stay of two of my employees that were already there she only extended them a day and when I corrected her and said no I need them to stay longer than that she said oh will you never said that period but she never even asked me? Read moreI spend a lot of money at this hotel (the one in Saint Peters) and they have always treated me like dirt. The first night they tried to keep my deposit saying I “smoked” in the room yet they couldn’t tell me what kind of smoke it was they smelled? And when I said I’ll contact corporate they threatened to not give me the $100 deposit back again… after I begged them to and swore up and down I didn’t smoke in that room (witch I really didn’t) that’s when I thought they were corporate but I found out they are really family owned. The owner treats me like I’m no good when I spend very good money there and always clean my room for them so they have little work to do, one day they told me I have to start bringing my own towels and blankets and sheets bc my tanner and makeup was getting on them (they are all old sheets and towels and they are white….) like I can’t be the only one to get stuff on white towels…. And my tanner and makeup comes out of my stuff at home so I’m sure there big commercial washer gets it out easy too… so then I started bringing my own stuff in lol!!! Like what???? On Friday 6/3 I tried to buy another room close to check out @ 11am and they already sold my room…… like what??? Also keep your daughters safe coming here bc the guy Sam flirts with you and has asked for my # multiple times and gave me him (yes I took it I hate saying no lol) also the cleaning guy will come and walk in to your room without any notice and has done it while I was naked multiple times. The black older lady upfront is the one who threatened to take my deposit for contacting corporate witch they don’t even have? I’m still going to try and contact Raddison some how. They have made me cry multiple times and told me to stop crying…. I just have spent so much w them and have gotten very little respect. They try and act like a 5 star hotel when They aren’t. The Americas best value inn on 5th street in Saint Charles is just as good as this hotel and the prices are cheaper and the staff is way nicer and they are also family owned. Read moreNot happy with this place, they have definitely lost my business. My husband and I had been staying at this hotel every month and a half (because we had to take our son to the orthodontist here) for the past 2 years. My father as well stays here when he comes in town. All that has now changed from our last visit. Our last visit the front desk lady was utterly rude, disrespectful and the last person you would want running the front desk. She had long braids and instead of coming to a solution she just put her hand up at me. When I asked to speak to the GM that was even worse. He looked like he was the janitor from first appearance and when I told him that situation he responded with our rooms are reserved for "guest only" with his loud sarcastic tone. The lady with the long braids stood there and started laughing. The GM didn't say anything to her, I had to ask why she was laughing and that she needed to shut her mouth and stay out of it. Absolute TERRIBLE customer service. Mind I say I am a Club Carlson member I stay at this hotel every month and a half. I was waiting on my father to meet me there. I live in Iowa and my father lives in Arkansas and we always meet in the middle and stay at this hotel. I will along with my father never stay at this hotel again! I will gladly give business to a hotel that deserves my money. Oh and one more thing to top the stay there the sink had to be fixed while we were in the room and the toilet was not to par as it should...
