I had a problem with my phone either being reported lost or stolen, not sure which, contacted FedEx not to deliver to the address in another state and called AT & T's fraud department and reported. I thought that was the end of it, but apparently the phone number was blacklisted. A couple of weeks later I couldn't make or receive any calls. I spent two hours with AT & T chat support and Assurion, the insurance company and got my phone turned back on. The next day it went off again. I went to a store in Kirkwood and they turned it on but said since it was blacklisted it would go back off within the hour (and it did), and the only way to fix this problem was to take the phone to the Apple Store. Instead I brought it to this location. Ryan and the manager, Sarah were very helpful. They didn't act like I was bothering them, like the store in Kirkwood did, and went out of their way to calm me down and assure me they would get the problem fixed. And they did. The Assurian guy has a desk in that store, he arranged for the phone number to be removed from the blacklist, but said it would take 24-48 hours. I explained I needed my phone asap, not only do I use it for my side business, but with my husband being sick I need for him or health care workers to be able to contact me. So they fixed it to where my phone could be available by 1:00 the next day. I was advised to put the phone in airplane mode until my service was restored. I went back the next day and Craig helped me again. Got my service restore and rebooted and all that other stuff they do to make sure it's working properly. I have never been a fan of AT & T because of lousy service, not just here but in other states I have lived. But, because of the caring manager and reps at this particular store, both my husband and I have AT & T cell service, and we just switched from cable to their new AT&T TV service. As long as this store keeps up the good work, we will remain AT &...
Read moreScheduled my internet and tv to be installed a month in advance. When the day came no one showed up. I went back to the store and spoke with the manager who said he had to set up a new account and would have someone out at my place the next day or day after. The next day I waited around till 1pm before trying to get ahold of the manager at the store with no luck so I drove back up there for him to tell me the dispatch manager told him he couldn't get an install date scheduled on that short of notice. While I was there he started tried reaching out to other people (I'm assuming higher up the ladder) and told me he would get my installation the next day for sure. Next day comes around 4pm still no one at my place so I go back to the store again, the manager and original salesman meet me at the door to tell me it can't be moved up and I would have to get it a week later on the date I asked to be scheduled when I can back in the store 2 days prior, remind you that they told me they had to create a new order to get to the dispatch. I told them this wasn't what we had discussed and they both just shrugged their shoulders at me. This is the worst "service" I've ever recieved. I will never step back in an ATT store again and highly suggest everyone avoids this store as its staff is a joke. If negative star reviews were possible thats what I would be giving this place.
I will find the buisness cards for the manager and salesman an update this post with their...
Read moreDropped in. Having trouble with my iMessage. Was greeted at the door by a gentleman who seemed put off that I came in. Told him my problem. He grabbed my phone from me and just starts messing with it. No introduction. No name. No: May I do this or that to your device. None the less, I allowed him to continue to work on my phone and do everything that I already attempted. And expressed this to him. No success. I thanked the man and on my way out he told me, maybe I should contact AT&T support before coming into the store. Are you not support? Cant you assist customers? Are “drop ins” and direct human interaction, along with an ability to try to solve a problem together, inappropriate? He didn’t ask anyone for assistance or try to solve my problem. Just why waste my time coming into the store. Call the support line. Thanks. Have a good day 👍, that’s how it felt coming into your story today. The kicker: “The problem may correct itself.” Thanks bro! All and all great customer service at this...
