My husband and I came in to eat at around 11:30. We had a menu to look over while we waited for our table . When it was time to be seated the hostess asked if we would like another menu and her trainer stood behind her and shoved the menu in my face and said “here just give it to her” and walked off. We sat down and waited 10 minutes . In that 10 minutes not one server acknowledged us. She acknowledged everyone around us. Serving two tables behind us and one next to us. Two other servers just cleaned tables and stood there talking to each other and ignored everyone else. I noticed another customer raising his hand to get their attention, they rolled their eyes and turned their backs. The server in our area was very partial to people like her, very attentive and friendly but went out of her way to ignore us . We got up to leave and my husband let the hostess trainer know why we were leaving for being ignored. The trainer rudely came back with “ she’s not your server”. There was never an indication to even try and remedy the situation. Customer service is not a strong point here if your not black. Heavily indicated today and so blatantly rude . We strongly recommend going elsewhere. Cracker Barrel is where it’s at. Served us in less than 10 minutes, food was outstanding and had excellent customer service and didn’t care what your...
Read moreHad a lovely visit this Thursday visit. Was seated quickly, drink order taken then. Coffee and wster brought out quickly, but gave me plenty of time to look over the menu. They have some new crepe meals. I tried one that had a new cinnamon bun crepe, plus 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and 3 pcs of bacon and 3 sausage links. I asked for the links be exchanged for 3 more pcs of bacon. Naz, my waiter, informed me that there were no strawberries to cut up and place across the cinnamon bun crepe. For me that wasn't a big deal. But seems strange for the restaurant to have new dishes but not all the ingredients. When the food was brought to the table Naz had put some of the strawberry glaze ( which had strawberries in it) in a small container so that my crepe would have strawberries on it if I wanted. Naz was a great waiter. He made sure at the start that I had the creamer I wanted and plenty of the sugar that I used on the table. He never hurried me, made sure I anything I needed and the food was to my satisfaction. Over all this was a delightful experience thanks to Naz. Service is fast and friendly and prices are fair for food you get. Love that you can build your own breakfast plates and looks like has some delicious lunch/dinner items too. I just always eat breakfast because I can eat new plates...
Read moreFood was good and hot, server was friendly but slow. Bathroom was awful. Toilet was out of order, clogged, with a signe that says we know and we are working on it. Sinks have no hot water and the motion sensors don't work properly. Both paper towel holders were empty with 4 rolls of toilet paper sitting on top of them. I dont know if they were wanting customers to use tp to dry their hands or not. When i went to ask the manager for paper towels, with dripping wet hands, he said " in the bathroom" at that point i held my hands up and said "why do you think im talking to you." I ended up grabbing some napkins and walking away. The table where we ate had one of those stickers on it with the qr code to scan for menus, but it was half way pulled up and just flapping around. There was all sorts of dirt, food, and grime around and under the sticker. When waitress asked if anything was needed i said "yes a scraper, so i can get rid of this" she laughed and said " I know its so annoying. I then informed her of how dirty and disgusting it is and she said " well if i pulled it up i would have to get acetone and clean it" Seriously we are complaining about cleaning a table so that customers can sit down to eat without the remmants of the last 100 customers meals and bacteria there..... pretty bad experience...
