I am extremely disappointed with the staff of this location and how rude and uncooperative they were. I order from this location quite often. I have walked in and there was no line. One employee was on the line and she just kept making side sauces to go . Completely ignoring me. 5 min later she acknowledge me by saying. What are you getting. I responded by saying “hi how are you” . No response . OK, clearly she’s having a bad day. I’ve worked in hospitality in my 20s. Went ahead with my order . Asks for Barbacoa and it appeared to be empty. Just juice. She ended up fishing out some meat for my tacos but barely any so I’ve asked if that is normal portion and what’s the normal portion you should get in ounces. She responded rudely that that’s all I’m getting and if I want to I can order double . So I said why is she being rude and so stand offish and what’s her name. Her response was “ you don’t need to know my name. There a reason I don’t wear a name tag” so I said ok , may I speak to a manager. She walked away and Anastasia came to speak to me. I’ve tried to explain that this employee was being rude and all I’m trying to do is order food after long day working. She just said: ok, do you want me to finish your order or not? So I’ve asked for corporate number and said this is very unprofessional. She Said she doesn’t have or know it but I can have her business card and her bosses. I’ve reluctantly took both and paid for my order. Tried to call the number on business card but they both just go to store . I was standing there and it kept ringing and they were purposely not picking it up. I called 4-5x waiting by entry door watching them ignore the phone. I need Ileana, who I believe is the store manager to get back to us. I will also reach out to corporate. I work with franchise companies and I’m sure franchisor would not condone this kind of behavior in their brand. I’m saddened by this and won’t be coming back. I’ll make sure my family and myself make the extra 5 min drive to the other location on 4th street. I’m sure the store manager is not aware of the behavior in their location. Just sad....
Read moreI ordered a burrito and a salad for pickup. It was supposed to be ready at 7:45, I arrived a couple min past 7:50 and it wasn't ready.no big deal, I told them I wasn't in a rush because they had a lot of togo orders and they seemed VERY flustered. The food area was very messy and they were acting frantic. They said they didn't have any bowls, and said they could make my salad in smaller togo containers. I said that was fine (instead of changing my salad to a burrito). During this time they were rude to other customers and I saw several actually leave without ordering (3-4 people, seriously!).
While waiting for my order I saw them making a burrito that was a complete sloppy mess - liquid all over the outside of the tortilla, even after a 2nd tortilla was added. The foil didn't cover the whole burrito and as a result was dripping on the counter. They added that burrito to my bag.... And I asked them to please re-make the burrito because it was dripping and not wrapped. (Side note, the burrito I ordered had half rice and half beans, was double wrapped and usually has no issues with being wrapped all the way). I watched one person take the burrito and put it on the other side of the assembly line, then another move it back and was about to put it back in my bag. Another person stopped them and (loudly) said "She doesn't like how it was wrapped". They rolled their eyes and huffed, and stared to unwrap. I asked for them to re-make it because it was literally falling apart. They huffed again - the whole situation was so awkward and uncomfortable from start to finish. I told them it was okay and that I did not want the order even though I had already paid for it.
I walked out after waiting 10min, 20min after my order was supposed to be ready.
I spent $22 and all I got was a terrible experience.
They were SO rude - to other customers, to each other.
OH and they found bowls at some point during this chaos - after turning...
Read moreI have been a faithful Chipotle customer for over 18 years now, starting out in San Diego and continuing through my move here to Florida (I jokingly say that I hate to think of the amount of money I've spent on your chicken and steak bowls, my two most favorite items). I see room for improvement, though, and in one specific area: you are, and always have been, way too stingy with your guacamole!!! Now, first of all, I have not forgotten that your policy allows you to give us extra other ingredients, for free, in the making of your bowls...and I realize that avocados are not a low priced vegetable on the market...any market. However, when going through the preparation line, and watching your employees take one of those big silver spoons of yours, scoop up a heaping spoonful of your delicious guac, and then have them give that spoonful a good WHACK so that half the guacamole on the spoon falls off, has always, ALWAYS offended me to my core. And to make that matter worse, I think you charge a very unfair, high fee for the amount of guacamole that you DO put in our dishes! I realize guacamole is an elective side dish, but--and pay close attention to what I'm saying here--do you realize that a lot of people I've spoken to over these many years come to Chipotle BECAUSE of the high quality/ taste of your guacamole??? IMHO, this is a policy of yours that needs to change, immediately, if not sooner. I realize that we are stuck with the extra charges for both your guacamole and your queso cheese (which you could also be a little more generous with, by the way), but seriously--knock off with that insulting policy of only giving us a flat, level spoonful of your guac instead of a nice, rounded spoonful that you initially load on to your spoon! It's selfish of you, and I don't think any of you quite grasp how happy you would make regular customers like me if you were to stop...
