Hooters — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

So I want to talk about my experience today at this location walking in I wasn’t greeted then, after sitting there so long, the waitress named Victoria turns around to me and says can I take your order so I’m explaining to her what I wanted she was very snappy she she she didn’t have no warm welcome me. She didn’t greet me at all even once I’m making my order she still didn’t say how are you doing? Then she gets in a little situation with a guy across from the bar and then she runs and get the manager as if the guy said or did something wrong. The overall Victoria is definitely not a friendly warm welcoming person. She doesn’t have good customer service. I will say that she is hard-working but the way she treated me today she did not wanna take my payment. She didn’t wanna touch the receipt where I wrote my gift card number on then the manager came out and assisted me with my payment and somehow it didn’t go through. He didn’t know what he was doing but I appreciate him for trying. I leave the store filling upset and disrespected so I called and asked to speak to the manager that I just dealt with with the black hat on. I’m speaking to him very calmly nicely over the phone. He tells me hung on one second let me go to my office. He hangs up the phone on me. I’ll call right back the phone rings if someone picks it up and hang it up. So I will not rest until I let everyone know how disgusting this restaurant is and how they will treat you here. No one should ever get treated like the way I was treated today. We started with a pitcher of sangria. It was horrible! Tasted like wine flavored seltzer water. Server offered to take it back and stir it better. Came back worse than the first time. Who puts seltzer water in sangria? After the second time, we sent it back and ordered beer. Next up, wings. These were the worst wings I've ever had... not just at Hooters, but anywhere! I've eaten Hooters wings for 35 years and always enjoyed them but this was my first time at this location and definitely my last. The hot wings were not only not hot but completely flavorless (and no, I don't have covid). Actually, they had a bit of a strong taste, like the frying oil hadn't been changed since before the pandemic, but other than that... flavorless. I asked for a side of sauce to give them some buffalo flavor and it was bad too! I don't know if they make their own or used a different brand or what, but it just wasn't good. Why can't they just use Frank's Red Hot like any good wing place? I didn't complain about the wings or sauce because we'd already complained about the sangria and sent it back. We just choked it down and left, vowing to never hit that Hooters location again. So this is just a heads-up for anyone heading to that location. Thumbs down to the wings and sangria. Loved the space, very clean but the service was very slow or not even paying attention to their area. Waited for a beer, they ended up being out of what I ordered and just brought me another kind then told me it was a different one instead of asking first. It was nice and cold and did enjoy it once I got it. When we decided to sit and have something to eat I had to go in and ask for menus after sitting there for 15 minutes then go in and find someone to wait on us. One of our friends told me which server was in our area but I found her sitting at a table with two guys while three others servers were just standing there. So I asked them if any of them wanted to make some money since ours is busy talking to boys. Our server Kenya was AWESOME! She made up for the lack of attention from the other server and even apologized for her co worker. Very lovely young lady. Now about the food. I had a buffalo chicken salad and my fiancé had boneless wings. The flavor was great and my salad vegetables were nice and fresh. But the Blue cheese was extremely watery and puddled at the bottom of my bowl. I usually take some home but in this case it was too soggy. Once we got home both of us have had stomach cramps and trip to the bathroom. Some changes definitely need made but we would go back and give it one more chance to upgrade...
