Linking Heights — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Johnny is certainly long gone and has been for quite a while now. I had been going there for many decades, when Johnny actually owned and operated the place himself. The people that currently/temporarily own and operate the place are running it into the ground and very quickly to might I add. The place is certainly very Woke. It's operated by some Butchlady & her DuBoi. It's very political & is an Anything Goes place. If you decide not to heed the true, accurate, correct and honest negative reviews, then be warned! The restrooms have been turned into a Community restroom. Where males, females & all of the other 50,000 genders shared together. I've only patronized a new business just one time with my family. I regret not going to the first time by myself to do a little recon so that my family would not have been exposed to a place such as this. During our first, only & last visit my 13-year-old daughter needed to use the restroom. After I seen a couple of people who DO NOT BELONG IN THE SAME RESTROOM AS MY DAUGHTER IS IN enter the restroom while my daughter was using it I immediately jumped up out of my chair and sprinted into the restroom ready to get a life sentence, If Needed! Maybe the new and very temporary proprietors should put a sign on the restroom stating "THIS RESTROOM IS FOR USE BUY BOTH MALE AND FEMALE GENDERS & ALSO FOR USE BY ALL THE OTHER 50,000 GENDERS". That way people would be able to make an educated decision on whether or not to use the restroom there or allow their children to use that restroom there!!! It certainly would help a lot! The food and service are both well below par and substandard levels by far! They serve overpriced food that they most likely bought from a grocery store (probably save-a-lot, Big lots & some dollar stores) and they're unable / incapable of a even preparing that right! How hard is it to cook / prepare, just heat up food that was purchased at the Dollar tree for a $1.27 per item? Apparently very hard for this Temporary Establishment, Obviously it is too hard for them!! That one time that I unfortunately made the mistake of patronizing the business with my family, a majority of us witnessed several cockroaches (Both dead & alive in the dining room, obviously they must have ate some of the food) & I'm myself saw Rat Droppings in a couple of corners in the dining room area! I believe that some Surprise Inspections by THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT, CODES ENFORCEMENT DEPARTMENT, THE FIRE MARSHAL & O.S.H.A. are both Very Well Deserved & Long Over Due!! But of course, if the inspectors are "WOKED" send a place with most likely pass inspections. So if you are WOKE, Enjoy Political Bashing, Don't Mind Using The Restroom With Everyone, Including their Mothers, Fathers, Aunts, Uncles, Brothers, Sisters, Cousins & Everyone Else that walks in the door & you enjoy eating and paying for food that you could have purchased yourself for a mere fraction of the price & prepared it yourself at home the correct, safer & sanitary way, THEN THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS THE PLACE...

So it doesn't look like much from the outside, but this pizza is great! Definitely meant for pick up or delivery, since it's a bit tiny inside.

The staff is super friendly. I don't think I've ever waited more than 30 mins when ordering ahead.

The pizza is super tasty. Not too much sauce. Just enough cheese. And the dough crisps up on the edges without that burnt taste. Personal favorite for me is sausage and mushroom, but chicken and bacon is a close second. Ask for it Extra toasted on the bottom; the perfect pizza!

The garlic knots aren't bad, but you're really there for the pizza.

Noticed something different as soon as I walked inside ( I think this place is under new management ). The pizza tasted completely different.... ( lost my appetite after half of the fist slice) This was the closest thing to NY pizza I had in Kendal and now I must search for a new spot. Rating - 1-10 A struggling 2 To top it off as I got in my car I noticed that the guy at the register was zapping flies above the pizzas.... Bruhhhh.

We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza for carry out just to give it a try, this was our first time trying it. The pizza was amazing! I really liked the sauce they used, it reminded me of original New York pizza. Also I liked that it wasnt too greasy on the crust.

The garlic rolls are very refreshing, not too pungent and not dry at all. The staff here is very respectful. I'm unsure if the older guy is the owner but he makes you feel so welcomed once you come in. He's very honest on what you should try when you have a craving. Very sweet! The prices here are VERY reasonable. Such a great experience...

Have to leave a review because it's so yummy and we've found ourselves here twice within a week. We first tried linking heights on the 18th and we got a ton of stuff to try for take out - wings, a burger, a quesadilla, broccoli, philly egg rolls, and the cuban. We did order a cup of chili that wasn't in the bag but a quick call to them and they removed it from the bill before the payment was processed, easy peasy! Everything was delish, my husbands quesadilla was crispy, full of flavor and chicken, our friend said the burger was one of the best he's had as take out from a restaurant, my cuban was so good and HUGE, I was worried since the fries are thicker that they wouldn't be crispy and boy was I wrong. The egg rolls and wings were are going to be staples to anytime we order because yummy. The food was great & their ranch?!? as a ranch girly, this is in the top 10 ranches in the area. We got it again last night to celebrate my sister in laws birthday, getting the wings and philly egg rolls again and adding in the shrimp app, my husband got a quesadilla again, we got the cuban again, and tried the chicken tenders and the quality was the same as the first time and so yummy.
