Central Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Very disappointed, I order about 30 dollars worth of food, one of my food items was a turkey cold cut sandwich. I went to eat the sandwich and the turkey was spoiled. I tasted the meat again to be sure of what I was tasting and then smelled the turkey and it was definitely spoiled. I called to advise that the cold Turkey meat was spoiled and got nothing but attitude. I was told that it was not possible for the turkey to be spoiled when the turkey is cut fresh everyday and that he was the person that cut the turkey. I placed my order around 8:18 last night. I advised that I didn’t want a refund just for the issue at hand to be fixed I even offered to bring the sandwich is so that they can smell the meat also, I didn’t not bite into the sub just simply took a piece of the turkey. I advised the guy who on the line that instead of being rude and arguing with me and telling me what I am tasting isn’t what I am tasting he should show good customer service and just offer to help because I could have ate the whole entire sandwich and gotten sick or worse food poisoning from it then it would be a different talk. He told me to do what ever I please and hung up on me. It sounds just like that damn delivery guy who brought me my food and I made sure to give him a tip. I’m very disappointed and will no longer be ordering anything from them ever again for the simple fact I’ve been a paying customer for YEARS and the issues should have been fixed instead of me being called a liar about the meat being spoiled and being hung up on. I will be calling to make a report to the health inspector better yet also the BBB “ Better Business Bureau” this is unacceptable. I’m very much happy that my god mother works for them. Great pizza and subs along with salads. Tonight was the first time my girlfriend and I ordered from Central Pizza and Subs, and we were completely satisfied with our order. Mike (the owner) and his help are on top of their game when it comes to pizza, subs, and salads. I myself had a Roastbeef sub. ....delicious! Also I had one slice of pepperoni pizza (they sale by the slice also) just to try their pizza, and it was delicious. It's almost what I would refer to as "New York" style pizza. Slices are very big, couldn't see myself having more than two slices for lunch. .....I wouldn't be able to function after enjoying the slices for lunch, I'd be so full..... My girlfriend had the chef salad which she couldn't stop saying how good it was while eating.There was ample meat on her salad where as a lot of other pizza joints will be greedy when it comes to the meats and cheese. Anyway, we found ourselves a new local favorite pizza joint. Looking forward to enjoying other items on their menu. They have a plethora of different subs and sandwiches. Multiple choices of specialty and "premium" pizzas. Along with ample choices of Italian baked and "Premium" dinner plates. I myself don't post many reviews but Mike and his help have a good thing going. Kudos to you Mike, kudos.

Absolute WORST Customer Service I have ever experienced. First order went great. 2nd time I ordered for delivery, waited 3 hours for them to deliver a cold sandwich, cold pasta. 3rd time I ordered, I waited one and half hours only to find out they cancelled my order because they said my card didn't go thru. When I asked why they didn't call me to let me know, HE LIED and said he called a half dozen times. It was a cell phone. It shows incoming and outgoing calls. NO CALLS incoming from ANYONE!

Probably didn't write the number down right just like they couldn't get my card right. But to make matters even worse. He told me he didn't want to take my order because I seemed "disgruntled". Not to mention calling me SIR when I'm a woman. I asked to speak to the owner and he told me to call back after 10:30 pm. After the store closes and no one will answer the phone.

I'd be afraid to order a sandwich from them for fear the moron on the phone would do something to the sandwich to get even for me being "Disgruntled" ! Shame too cause the sandwiches are half way decent, Chicken...
