This is by far the most unprofessional The Blend I’ve ever been to. If I could give customer care factor a ZERO, I would. Two young girls working- one white and black female on Saturday April 5th. I came for a coffee and they weren’t busy at all - I was even first in line. I ordered a small vanilla latte (no substitutes) and waited 20 MINUTES for it. I watched several people after me order iced & hot drinks and receive them well before me.
When I finally went up there to ask about my coffee. She simply said “oh you had an iced coffee?” And then proceeded to go back to the register to take orders and leave in the middle of making my coffee. I literally thought it was a joke. How unprofessional to have your staff make a coffee, get halfway through it and go back to taking orders. 6 orders came out before my small vanilla iced latte. She plopped it on the counter without saying anything - no apology or “thanks for waiting” or any acknowledgment, which would’ve gone such a long way and I wouldn’t be writing this review.
The hiring manager/ management should be ashamed of who they hire (and lack there of) for a business that relies heavily on customer service.
Don’t ever come to this location. The location off of 34th may be slow (which is a trend with The Blend) but they’re...
Read moreI tried...I really tried to be into this place. I ordered my food and got a bottle of water. The girl at the counter was making small talk with me and kind of forced me to touch her shirt to see how soft it was (she wasn't rude, but I didn't have a choice...). I did, but then she continued by showing me on her body where the body suit was cut which was very uncomfortable. After ordering, I found a seat and waited for my small piece of bread (which took 10 minutes to warm up), and while I was waiting, I got my laptop out and earbuds in, music on. I literally couldn't hear my own music over the two girls behind the counter giggling and laughing. I appreciate the fun atmosphere, but it was excessive and I was the only person in the place (and trying to work). When I got my food, my chocolate banana bread was so dry that I threw it away, and the giggling continued when a good looking male employee entered the store (it got louder actually...) So I bailed and decided to head up the street to Starbucks.
On a plus note, my bottle of Essentia water was good.
Save yourself... listen to the reviews and just...
Read moreI’ve been to the blend several times but today was not a pleasant experience. My wifi was out at my house, so I ordered a coffee and a breakfast burrito online. Ate my food, sipped my coffee and then threw it away. Went to ask for the wifi password so I could do some work and they told me I had to be a paying customer to use it. I told them I had ordered online and they gave me the password. About ten minutes later they approached me again after I pulled my laptop out telling me I had to pay to use wifi… I showed them my text confirmation of my order and I said I had already thrown my food away..I had literally been there for only 10 minutes and they were being exceptionally unwelcoming and rude. Have some compassion for the people who were just impacted by the hurricane. If you want to use their wifi make sure to have your empty coffee cup sitting there the whole damn time so they don’t harass you! Next time I will just go to...
