Fancy Q Sushi Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Saint Simons

I absolutely hate giving bad reviews but this place was terrible. We wanted sushi so bad while on vacation and visiting St. Simons Island and this place had great reviews and high star rating, I have no idea why. To start we were immediately served hot broth and a deep fried crab stick with sauce, that gesture is super nice however we are ones that don't eat these things and dislike wasting anything, wish they would have just asked and we would have declined them so as not to waste. We tried the fried crab stick, I mean it was already placed on our table, not good. We ordered 4 sushi rolls, there was only one that was edible not great or good just edible, the second roll we each ate 2 pieces just trying to like it and it was just terrible. Then came the last two rolls, just a basic spicy tuna roll and another with spicy tuna and seared tuna on top. My husband and I ate one piece of each roll and immediately stopped eating everything. I don't know if it was a seasoning used in the mix, bad mixture or what but nothing about them tasted good or normal. We did have the fried Gyoza and that was good, no complaints about those at all. I have eaten here 6 times in the last 2 months. The staff is friendly and courteous from the start, and they want to make sure everything is as you ordered and that you enjoyed the food. They bring you a complimentary bite of the Eddy Special, which is tempura battered crab with a delicious sauce over the top. They also give you complimentary house soup which had broth, mushroom and the crunchies from tempura. We enjoyed it so much we ordered a full roll! They have a great selection of standard rolls $5; 2nd tier rolls $9.75 and specialty rolls for $12.75. This is a great option for whatever price point you want stay in. I have had rolls from all 3 options, and they were crafted with the same care and expertise. I love the spicy crab salad, and the Lucky Dragon roll is my usual! It was very unprofessional service. Tonight when I walked in they told me that time was limited due to them being closed at 11:00.pm We came in around 10:30pm . They sat us down and we felt rushed immediately when we got to the table. they brought us our food. They started with the appetizers first and brought both our meals shortly after . We ordered drinks first but the drinks didn't arrive until 20 minutes later. This is the worst place that I've ever been to in my life and this is the first time that I'm coming here and I'm never coming back . When we received the check ours cards were charged twice due to an error because the cashier got the wrong receipt. Then they tried to downplay it and make us feel that we were the problem when they were the ones who made the mistake. I'm very disappointed and I feel highly disrespected after this incident.
