KJ Clothier — Local services in Saint Simons

OK I’m really sorry but I just have to tell the truth. I can’t find anything here that tickles my fancy. I feel like a stylist needs to be hired because so much of the clothing is just very tacky looking, oversized, and i’m sorry I’m just going to be honest…ugly. Way too many pieces carry no shape. I mean there is one frilly rainbow color block dress that looks like something Pennywise the clown would wear. And I have seen things in pictures that just unflatter women and make them look 10 years older and bigger than they are. The prints and the bright colors… I just can’t seem to find a taste for. Look I know this is the south but the clothing here just emphasizes horrible retirement home fashion. Now if the store were to add some neutral colors, bohemian style, And curve hugging dresses… I think this place can go somewhere. But it’s just the opinion of one measly person. I love KJ clothier. They are my by far my favorite boutique in the golden isles. Jaicee, the owner, is super sweet, too. When I need a dress or just a new outfit I know where to go. She listens and helps you find the best outfit. My favorite experience at KJ was last fall. I needed options for my brother’s rehearsal dinner. I love love love this store! I bought my baby shower dress here and even tho it wasn’t maternity it fit like a glove! I’ve also bought a lot of jewelry and some summer hats. I had a few questions about some of the gold hoops I wanted and Jaicee always responded fast to my messages and was so kind and helpful!
