We had an absolutely wonderful time playing both Blackbeard’s Trap and Operation L.I.V.E. At Breakout Adventures Escape on St. Simon’s Island. Carl has built some absolutely brilliant experiences and from the sound of it, there is more to come! Both rooms were extremely fun in both storyline and challenges. Being that it was our first room, as a team, in 2025, we were a bit rusty but seemed to have worked through that by the time we got to the second game. I personally enjoyed the craftsmanship in Blackbeard’s Trap (there were many mechanical elements but not in traditional ER style) as well as the very task based and narrative progression used in Operation L.I.V.E. (Story similar to Terminator 2 and Skynet; preventing evil AI/ software from becoming self aware). Carl was a fantastic host and Cole was a very friendly and helpful game master. We loved both and would definitely recommend stopping here. On a side note, we were pleasantly surprised by St. Simon’s Island, itself, and discussed legitimately coming back another time, to stay.

(*Review from an experienced player who travels the country and tries multiple rooms / breakout companies). First off, great experience! Carl (the owner / creator) is nothing but a class act and it’s really impressive how he built his rooms mostly by himself. I’m a pilot and try different companies all over the country, and I loved this breakout experience. The other pilot & I did both rooms that are available currently, and were impressed. Very detailed, and “King’s Roar” is perfect for beginner-intermediate players. “Blackbeard’s Trap” is definitely for intermediate-expert players. We completed King’s Roar, but failed Blackbeard’s Trap, but had a blast in both! We are now 10-2 on escape rooms around the country with just the two of us, so we loved the challenge of Blackbeard’s! Highly recommend giving this place a try. Carl is a great guy!

We truly had an excellent time! We played The King's Roar. It was the perfect difficulty level for us. Our party ranged from first time players to more experienced escapists. Everyone solved at least one puzzle individually and we solved several as a collective. It felt great for everyone to have a personal win and to see our group achieve together. The aesthetic was fantastic and looked so good! We learned the owner also designed and built the sets and we found them very impressive. The puzzles interactive, intuitive, and fun. They all made sense and worked seamlessly into the storyline. After finishing the game we immediately booked an evening to play the more challenging escape room, Blackbeard's Trap. Go and play!

Sherlock Holmes: Moriarty’s Revenge

We played Sherlock Holmes: Moriarty’s Revenge and, once again, had an incredible experience. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like we were transported straight into late 1800s Victorian England. The adventure begins in Holmes’ library, and immediately you’re immersed in the world of Sherlock, surrounded by rich details that make you forget you’re in an escape room and not actually inside the story.

Like the other rooms at this location, the attention to detail is absolutely phenomenal. Every piece of décor, every prop, every hidden touch is crafted to pull you deeper into the narrative. What I love is how the puzzles are seamlessly tied to the theme—they feel authentic to the time period, challenging but logical, and every discovery unlocks a new layer of mystery. Each solved clue brings an unexpected twist or surprise, keeping you engaged and excited to see what comes next.

It never once feels like you’re breaking character or stepping outside the story. Instead, you’re carried along in this perfectly woven balance of atmosphere, storytelling, and puzzle design. This room is a must for anyone who loves Sherlock Holmes or just wants to step into a fully realized world of mystery and intrigue.

Operation L.I.V.E

We did all of their rooms! this is a review for Operation L.I.V.E. We had an great time in this phenomenal escape room! The immersive theming immediately draws you into the world of a rogue AI. The props and puzzles are incredibly detailed, showcasing the owner's exceptional craftsmanship. It's hard to believe this is their first time building escape rooms! This venue is destined to become a must-visit destination for escape room enthusiasts. Highly...

We recently visited Breakout Adventures, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and enthusiastic, immediately setting a positive tone for our adventure. The attention to detail in the room's design was incredible, immersing us fully in the storyline.

The puzzles were cleverly crafted, challenging but not frustratingly difficult, striking the perfect balance to keep us engaged and entertained. Each clue led seamlessly to the next, creating a satisfying flow that kept our adrenaline pumping. The creativity and variety of the puzzles showed a lot of thought and effort put into their design.

What stood out most was the quality of the theme and props. It felt like stepping into a different world, with intricate decorations and atmospheric elements that enhanced the overall experience. The room had a few surprising twists that added an extra layer of excitement, making it even more memorable.

The game master was attentive and provided hints at just the right moments, ensuring we didn't get stuck but still had the thrill of solving the puzzles ourselves. Their passion for the escape room was evident and infectious, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, Breakout Adventures offers an exhilarating and fun adventure that's perfect for friends, family, or colleagues. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and entertaining activity. We can't wait to return and try out their...

I am thrilled to recommend Kings Roar by Breakout Games - a truly captivating escape game that has significantly raised the bar in the Southeast Georgia gaming market.

The game's setup is a testament to an outstanding attention to detail and creativity. The immersive set design transports you directly into the story, building an atmosphere that's both thrilling and engaging. What sets Kings Roar apart is its commitment to second-generation puzzles - a refreshing departure from the usual combination locks. These puzzles, which are intellectually challenging and innovative, greatly enhance the overall gaming experience.

What stood out most during our visit was the evident passion and dedication of the owners. They genuinely care about providing an amazing, unforgettable experience for every participant. This commitment, combined with their innovative approach to puzzle design, leaves no doubt in my mind about the future success and growth of Breakout Adventure in the region.

If you are a fan of escape games or simply looking for a unique, fun-filled adventure, I strongly recommend you experience Kings Roar by Breakout Games. We are eagerly anticipating their continued growth and innovation in the Southeast Georgia market, and we are sure...
