Update: So we got takeout from the Alibi tonight because I had been craving their broasted chicken ever since I had it the last time. Well tonightâs experience was completely different from the first time we tried them. My broasted chicken was so overcooked and not at all juicy and moist like last time and my onion rings were soggy. My son tried their bacon cheeseburger and fries this time. The burger was not good. I do not recommend it at all and the fries, despite asking for them crispy, were undercooked and floppy. My son who loves french fries, didnât eat hardly any of his fries and only part of his burger and he can eat a whole Five Guys burger.
And to the staff who asked my husband, âWhat are you doing?â when he was trying to take pics of the menu. To which you told him, âThe menuâs online somewhere.â Somewhere? Well I spent 30 minutes trying to find a full current menu. The only ones I could find were from 3 years and 5 years ago!! And guess what? Those were pictures of your menu too and not posted by you. You know where the menu should be rather than âsomewhere onlineâ? Your website that you donât have. So if you had a menu where it should be, he wouldnât need to be taking pics of your menu. But donât worry, we wonât be needing that menu anytime soon.
Our original review: We got take out from the Alibi tonight since theyâre right down the road. My hubby had the cod with side salad and onion rings, which he said was very good (although the cod is small and thin). My son had the chicken strips with fries, and also said they were really good. I had the broasted chicken with salad and onion rings and I was blown away at how moist and delicious the chicken was. If you love chicken as much as I do, I highly recommend. The onion rings were really tasty as well.
The only thing is they charge you a $1 âto goâ fee per item rather than a flat fee per order, which I thought was...
Read moreWe go in for Breakfast occasionally. The Food is Always Amazing! The Service is always friendly, but they could easily use just 1 more server. The Drinks (at least the Bloody Marys, anyway) are very well made. And MOST Importantly, the price is reasonable! Our breakfast today was only $36 (before the Tip) was 1 Chicken Fried Steak with 2 eggs, hash browns, and English Muffin, a Breakfast Burrito (Very Good), total of 4 Bloodies, and a Cup of coffee. I have eaten at more than a few breakfast spots around town, and at MOST of them the $36 we paid for the entire meal was barely enough to cover the Bloodies. âââââ Alibi, you're the TOPS! My only suggestions are ...
I went to the restaurant to meet up with a good friend to eat some food and drink a couple beers. We had fish and there was a fish spine in the filet served and it was lodged in my throat. I was fearful that I would have to go to the hospital. I almost swallowed the thing, but luckily was able to cough the bone out 15 minutes later. I was scared and after coughing it out and barely able to speak after, I told the bartender and manager, but they didnât seem to care. After reporting this they continued serving the fish to a few of the older people I seen next to me at a table. This didnât strike me well and I will never go back. I didnât even get a discount on the food and had to pay full price for the meal. That is bad customer service and a bad business practice.I could have been hospitalized if the bone was swallowed, but not even a check...
