Sorry to put up a review without any feedback, and I know how unhelpful that can be. First off, I was invited there for lunch, and I was on the phone with the people I was meeting with there. So, as I walked in, I was greeted by a host, and she was a little short with me. Which I paid no mind to because I worked customer service and know its super stressful. I said I was invited to lunch and my party was right there is it all right if I walk over to them... I asked due to the feeling of not really feeling welcome when I came in the door. After asking the host decided to do something else at the counter so I asked again.... Still no response so I said on I see my party I am going to just walk back to them, and that is when I got a response, and it was not a very nice response. At that point I decided I will not be spoken to in that fashion, so I walked back to my party and said Hey I am not going to eat here why don't we pack up and head somewhere else and at that time the host was couniting to be rude to me and we just left and went somewhere else. I hate putting stuff like this up but as a business owner myself I hate to read these one but also, I am glad someone said something, so I know where I need to improve and what areas I need to correct so that people have a better experience. Ā Ā Ā Read moreFour times now I've tried to order food to go, and they flat out refuse to take an order. Two months ago I called and they put me on hold for 12 minutes - long enough to drive there and place my order in person. I complained to the manager. He asked if I called the right La Hacienda - turns out I did.
Then two times more I called last month, and spent 6-8 minutes on hold each time. They never did pick up, and when I called back, they put me on hold again and never did pick up - each time. For fun once I stayed on hold for 15 minutes when i drove - they never did pick up. I just gave up and went a month without going there.
Tonight I tried one last time since it's just more conveniently located and I was in a rush. This time the girl who picked up the phone at least took my order without putting me on hold, but apparently she didn't possess the brain power to actually place it, so when arrived 20 minutes later, no order was in. Again, I complained and the manager wanted to see if I called the right La Hacienda - it was the same West Salem branch saved in my phone I called the last 4 times. You can't fix stupid.
Shame on me for letting them do this to me four times in a row. What gets me is I have local friends that have same problem - they obviously do want to take phone orders. But the bottom line is the food here is fair at best and the service is always slow. There's are dozen of other better options in town -...

The waitress who sat me at first started speaking to me in Spanish and I responded saying I donāt speak Spanish but my partner does. Nothing wrong. The. She came back and continued to ask in Spanish if I was sure I didnāt speak Spanish. My partner translated for me. Then upon leaving we paid with a $50 gift card and an extra $20 for a meal that cost a total of $63 and some of cents. We start to leave and get stopped by the staff after weāve entered our car. Iām asked to come inside till the gift card is ran. They say it has insufficient funds. Then continue to ask how Iām going to pay. I request that they refund anything that came off the gift card. They say they canāt and try to run it again. Low and behold it has plenty of funds. I ask for the difference in change from the $20 that was left over. While waiting one of the staff members comes up to me and says ādonāt give us attitude weāre doing our jobā. I tell the waiter āyouāre completely out of line for saying that to meā. This wasnāt out of entitlement but rather I felt 1) harassed 2) discriminated against 3) thatās no way to treat a customer. I never review establishments but this has just left me shook.
