2 out of 3 times Victorico's has had difficulties with our order.
Food is pretty greasy though it can taste good even with the massive stomach pains it gives away as a tip.EXAMPLE: The deep fried Chile Rellenos are often soaked in grease because they aren't drained/dried/de-greased enough prior to plating, and they don't put anything in the waterproof box to help. The Adobada meat has often been fat-laden AND greasy though the flavor can still be yummy if you have tortillas and RICE.
The staff may be "sweet", as other reviewers have mentioned, but they may need some training in treating the customer as they should, if they intend to not continually get bad reviews from locals that used to like the place and now only go back once in a while when most of the other places are closed for a holiday and/or covid outbreak from the winter holiday gatherings . EXAMPLE: i Ordered $20+ of food at the drive-thru and did not get the rice which I actually needed for my body to let me eat the rest of the meal well.
The female that answered the phone when we called to have it fixed (after driving 30+ minutes to our home) said that they had mentioned ,"out of rice". She didn't specifically say she told us this valuable tidbit of information, and we certainly were listening because whoever took our order initially was talking quickly and we wanted to make sure we heard. Now it begins to be a little tricky because neither the restaurant nor myself can prove what happened. I believe it's possible we didn't hear her because she wasn't communicating effectively, in such a case the restaurant would be at fault and should volunteer to refund the money for the Adobada plate at least. However, in the food industry, the customer is always right in a tie for poor communication; this is to preserve the good feelings the restaurant promotes you will feel from just eating their food.
I attempted to be nice on the phone and told them "it sucks" and that they should "put a sign up". Not real original thinking on my part, but at least they understood what I intended to communicate
For the record, I haven't seen any restaurants around here run out of basic rice if they were being managed properly, but this place runs out often and it's super easy to make a big, simple, 2 word sign that says, 'No Rice". to save us all from reading boring reviews written while we're hungry and nauseous.
If you read this review, make sure to ask, 'Do you have rice today?", even if you think they say they do, verify because the sign they actually need reads, "Come to the window because we can't fully take your order from the call box." Hee hee.

Read moreUpdate: I was dumb enough to actually go back and give them another try. My double meat burrito was actually fuller this time but my bacon was basically raw. There were 5 large pieces of white chewy bacon in my burrito that I ended up feeding my dog. Last time my bacon was severely overcooked. They also gave my hubby a breakfast burrito instead of the chicken one he ordered. They are severely lacking in consistent quality. It’s sad because they used to be sooo good.
Their quality and consistency has dramatically decreased while prices have gone up. The last few times I’ve gone here, my $11 double meat burrito with bacon and sausage has been mostly tortilla. This time, it also had no cheese in it and the bacon was very overcooked. Another time, I ordered guacamole and sour cream on it and although I paid for it, there was none on it. I had to decrease my 5 star rating to a 2 star. I kept giving them chances but this is my last chance. Also, my hubby’s chicken on his burrito was burnt. In addition, their red sauce which has been my favorite for years, all the sudden tastes weird, almost like it’s bad. Not sure if they changed the recipe but something is off. No longer willing to spend $11 for mostly tortilla. It used to have big chunks of chopped sausage, now I don’t even taste...
Read moreI ordered a breakfast burrito today and there was hardly any egg in there if any at all. It was literally just potatoes, cheese and onions.. with a light sprinkle of tiny egg bits... I just don’t think it’s fair when this continues to happen. I pay hard earned money to hopefully get a decent food order.. it makes me more irritated when I leave behind a tip for motivation for the crew and now for a future trip (if I go) I won’t feel up to tipping due to my last experience which then the crew for that day won’t understand why they aren’t receiving a tip. I took a picture of my “burrito” and wish I could post it. I took out the entire burrito and was in complete surprise of how Un-cared for it was. Disappointed, please keep in mind that people are paying for this food being ordered as you are being paid to make it as your menu advertises. When you don’t meet those standards even in the slightest it will in the long run take you out of business because people work too hard to keep paying for food they just have to throw away because it’s not necessarily...
