Cherry City Bagels — Restaurant in Salem

So excited to have a bagel place in town and close to me!

I've been twice and it's been SO delicious!

On my first visit, I got the garlic bagel with the fire roasted pepper spread and my husband got an onion bagel with cherry city spread and sausage. Right off the bat, the bagel was amazing! So crispy outside and soft inside. I'm no bagel expert, but this tasted just right. And, the spread was just so good. A little spice but so flavorful. I sampled a little of my husband's cherry city spread and it was so unique and tasty. On my second visit, I got the cheese bagel and added bacon, lettuce and tomato. And, did a scallion spread. This was good but I think I preferred the garlic bagel. The cheese bagel seemed a bit softer then the garlic. But, overall still delicious!

And, the folks in the truck are friendly and helpful, which is a nice bonus.

I'm excited to go back again and again and try lots of different menu items.

I was excited to try this place after seeing reviews … I ordered a egg ,ham and cheese on jalapeño bagel I specifically asked and made a extra note for no cream cheese on the bagel what so ever when I got it it was COVERED in cream cheese I know ppl like lot but it was so much my bagel was soggy and just gross all the way around , ham was slimey egg was cold and seemed old or premade . As for the actual bagel it did not taste any better than a store bought bagel . I’ve been to lots of bagel shops outside of and around town and never had one this disappointing and inedible. 16$ for a bagel and juice and it was most definitely not worth even 5$ . Safeway is across the street and they have great bagels and you could make your own Sammy for cheaper and better quality...

They just opened last week and I’ve been twice so far. I really like their bagels and the cherry city cream cheese is delicious. On my second trip I got an 8oz container of it to take home (I have bagels at home almost daily and usually put jam on top but like this flavor of cream cheese way more). The service was a bit slow but it seemed like there were big orders ahead of me and they’re a new business so I’m sure they’re working out a couple kinks. Overall really delicious and great quality, I’ve been telling all my friends to go try it out. If you like bagels, these are definitely the best I’ve...
