Prime rib dip. Excellent food and fast and friendly service.

The Stonefront - Part Two

Went back to the Stonefront today. Their hospitality is a cut above the rest, so it was an easy decision for me to go back where I feel welcome and comfortable. Sports always on the screens that encircle the room, people on their lunch breaks drinking, relaxing, working away at large, heaping plates of comfort food, servers keeping a watchful eye on all the patrons and activities, making sure all the diners are happy. In the mood for a cheeseburger today. Haven't tried one at this place yet, so that's what I ordered. Started out with a tall glass of ice-cold Coca-Cola because it seems to go together well with a burger and fries, just like the way all the old-fashioned diners would serve their customers after taking a break from driving several miles along the highway. My food came out and I looked up at this beautifully-made, sky-scraper tall, half-pound cheeseburger with all the fixings and some kind of secret sauce all inside a large fresh bun. Steak fries on the side, ready with ketchup, ranch, and tartar. Tartar, because if you're from Seattle, well, that's what Seattleites do. I look at the burger and smile, and the server smiles right back 'cause she knows it's gonna be good. Took one bite, and knew just then, instantly, and without pause, that this was the best burger I've ever had in town. I tell the server straight away how good the burger tastes and she happily runs in to tell the chef. Would have taken a picture, but after already consuming most of the burger, didn't feel like people would want to see a picture of an empty plate. An easy five stars all around! And a big thanks to all the hard-working and cheerful people...

While this is a bar/pub it is really worth it to stop by for a meal, the food is definitely above average bar food, I believe they could easily succeed as just a restaurant. We started with loaded potato skins for an appetizer and they were phenomenal. Really great tasting with extremely perfect toppings. Two of us could have easily split that as a meal with a cup of soup or salad and walk away beyond full. My wife got the prime rib sandwich which is served with au jus if you prefer a French dip sandwich. The meat was tender and cooked perfectly. I liked the horseradish flavored sauce on it. She got it with a bowl of clam chowder and said it was some of the best chowder she’s had. I got a Ruben sandwich with fries and the corned beef was delicious. Unfortunately my bread was burnt which I probably could have sent back but was too hungry. But that aside it was great. For fries you get your choice of shoestring or thicker dinner fries, I chose shoestring and they were good, the amount served was extremely generous. The staff were so friendly with great personalities and helpful with suggestions. Their prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is nice, more of an upper end bar than a dive bar. I do recommend them for sure and we’ll be...

This place is not much to look at from the outside, but as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. There were hightops, the bar, of course, regular tables, and roomy booths. The service was stellar. We wanted for nothing, and requests were met promptly. I did prefer one server especially, Kristy. I asked what her favorites were, and she did not hesitate with answers. She did not fail us. She was awesome! Everything was nice and clean right down to the restrooms. I was beyond pleased. My husband had the Reuben with fries and a soda. Let's say he is a connoisseur of them. This rated in his top 2, maybe even tied for 1st. I enjoyed the bacon cheeseburger with american cheese and a salad with blue cheese dressing. This burger had amazing flavor. The actual patty! I could tatse that the meat had been seasoned, which seems rare anymore. That coupled with the relish fresh toppings and toasted bun, Mmmmm. Could not put it down. I can not wait to return to try some of the other offerings such as the French Dip, Clubhouse, Crispy Chicken Wrap, and one of the full salads. It will be a difficult choice knowing how good the food is and how generous the portions are. We found this place by google. It was rated 4.5. I think that score...

For dinner I decided to take a walk to Stonefront Tavern, which I haven't been to in 10+ years. Welp, that's going to change IMMEDIATELY. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger with fries. To start, the atmosphere was lively, the servers were friendly and on top of things, and the prices were very reasonable IMO ($14.95). Once I sunk my choppers into the 1/2 lb, juicy, mouth-watering burger, I was sold! Fresh toppings and loads of flavor. 🤤 The fries were also nice and crispy and not overly salted. I have a feeling there are going to be several walks to The Stonefront Tavern in my future! ✌️❤️🍔
