After having disastrous experiences, trying to order food while being in the hospital and the restaurant that we ordered from in seven days was 100% wrong on every order. So on Sunday, 29 April came the final straw. I ordered from the cafeteria one more Time . I ordered off of the menu and with my health issues. It’s a very restrictive way to order with all the limitations, salt, cholesterol, fat, and sugar. They have limits on all of that and I have to not go over their limits. I order grilled salmon which comes with sautéed vegetables, and I also ordered a cup of garden vegetable soup. When I receive my order, I should not have been surprised, although I was and I pulled the top off the dish and there was some kind of mystery meat mixed up with gravy, and there was some carrots that looked like they were cooked last week. So I said enough is enough. I talk to my doctor and I said this is actually not debatable. I told him that I was gonna order my food to get delivered and I was going to use DoorDash so he said the whole story to him and he said OK. I said I’m gonna try to keep it as close as I can to the limits you put on me for sugar, fat and Cholesterol.. So he agreed that I can do that. So last night I ordered something from the Ram and everything went smooth. This morning I ordered from Denny’s on Ryan Drive and while I was ordering, I wanted to get a nice cup of coffee and I know you guys have good coffee on the site. I couldn’t figure out how to order cream and an artificial sweetener. So I called the Denny’s on Ryan Drive and talked to Hayley R Who assured me that she would personally take care of my order and make sure that I got everything that I needed not that I needed much but she was so kind and so nice and it was a breath of fresh air even she told the other people that were working with her about that and they all made sure that I got everything correctly. When I got my food, I was completely satisfied. She went over the top making sure I had plenty of everything more than enough and I just wanna give a shout out to her for stepping up and doing a great job. After I ate, I called her back and thanked her profusely for doing what she did and told her that she just made my day. And I also told her that when I got out of the hospital on days that she was working, I found out her schedule. I’m gonna go over there and her and I are going to sit down and have a cuppa coffee and have a chat. So shout out to Hayley And I can’t wait to sit down with her for...
Read moreSo today is my birthday, I am disabled. My caregiver called around so we could we could get something nice, I was not aware of the app but she spoke to the manager and he said if I have ID they would allow it this once but I would need the app next time. Myself and my caregiver thought that was really nice and I was grateful. We got there having not gone to this place before, we followed the server to the table. My caregiver let him know it was my birthday and we asked what meal was the birthday one, he said he didn't deal with that and left :/ we sat there another 20 mins before he came back, he was very short with us, we finally got to order, he brought two wrong things and had a really bad manner with us, I didn't even complain. He kept making us wait and the only time he was kinda nice is when the manager was close by. My caregiver went to go pay for hers and they told her the birthday meal had been changed, she explained that she asked the server before hand and he said nothing about it. I felt very disheartened as it was the first time I had been there and the very first time I did a birthday thing. I told my caregiver I would pay her back and I also will not return there. We did not act rude or bad to anyone. We both remained polite the entire time. I don't know why we had been treated like that but I can say I will never offer payment to a establishment that treats customers poorly. I never partake in birthday freebies other then coffee which I was unable to do because they wanted the app. I did this time and it made me feel bad because of...
Read moreMy husband and our two kids came to this location because we HATE the market street location and this location is not close to where we live. We came around 830 this morning to find the whole restaurant packed! We didn’t mind it took about 10 minutes to get us seated apparently nobody saw our family standing in the “please wait to be seated” section. The lady who seated us was younger and had a very unfriendly attitude still our family ignored her unfriendly attitude and sat down. We were greeted by our server who was also unfriendly and very cold. Maybe he was having a bad day or maybe he was irritated by the fact that he was busy. Still don’t be unfriendly if you are working for Tips. We waited till about 910 when we finally got our food I guess it was too much to assume that our food would come out hot… because that is not what we got. My eggs and my husbands were completely cold and my child’s chicken stripes were completely over cooked. The server left our food and then completely forgot about us didn’t ask if we wanted drink refills or if we were satisfied with our food. The past year we have been to this location 3 times and each time it’s filled with servers that shouldn’t be servers and front hosts that are very unfriendly. It’s sad to think salem doesn’t have a decent...
