This place is going to have to be a no for me. Everything was just a little off. The adobo was shredded which I’ve never seen before. It was heavy vinegar and little soy. The balance just wasn’t there. The pancit used bacon instead of Chinese sausage and it left the whole dish flavorless. They used a clear noodle, not the rice vermicelli I’m accustomed to. I didn’t taste any oyster sauce. The lumpia was well cooked but there just wasn’t anything in them but the smallest amount of cabbage. They were such a disappointment. The drink was nice but not enough to be worth the $30 price tag. If you’re unfamiliar with Filipino food, it might be ok… otherwise, skip this overpriced and under seasoned food truck.

I recently placed my first order from this establishment and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The order consisted of two servings of lumpia, also known as egg rolls, accompanied by rice and glass noodles, as well as two Pineapple agua fresca drinks. However, the drinks were served warm, giving the impression that pineapple juice from a can had been poured into the cup and ice added. The lumpia itself was disappointing, with dry cold and overcooked meat. Given that I had the order delivered to my workplace to share with a colleague for lunch, the total cost of $62, including a $7 prep service fee, seemed excessive for the quality received, leaving me feeling that I did not get value for my money.

I order from Nanays often and tonight, I arrived at 7:30 and ordered the get in my belly meal. Usually the portions are huge and they should be, since I'm pay $19! Tonight the pancit was half the size it normally is and there was tons of uncooked cabbage thrown into it. It was disgusting. I went back to see about the possibility of getting it remade until the young lady said "it's 5 minutes to closing an I just threw it in there!!"?? I'm excuse me? I didn't arrive 5 minutes before 8pm. It's now 8pm. She offered to remake it, but food is directly related to the thought and energy put into it. I will not order from her again.

Mildly disappointed and frustrated. I've heard good things about this place and even tried some leftovers family brought home and enjoyed it. I ordered a burrito and the serving size is plentiful, too much in fact. I took it out of the soaked wrapper and immediately started to fall apart. After the 3rd bite, the burrito instantly turned into a pile of mush. I had to ask for extra napkins and a fork to finish the rest. This is a mild frustration, though. I think the cart is cute, the place was open when most the other carts were closed, and the lady working was nice. I have faith in this food cart for future visits, I just hope the owner would see this experience and take it into...
