Been here twice before. Probably gave good reviews. However today blew it. Probably won't be back. Waitress had attitude from the minute we walked in. No greeting, just eye roll. However she did suggest I use mens restroom because there was a large party in back. When we got thete , there were 2 gentleman and a couple at the bar. That's it. She took her good old time coming over to our booth. Attitude. All I can say. No drink refills. None offered to go. Soda and tea, no alcohol. We've always been offered in the past with refills and to go. ( older lady. Did not see her today,). The food my husband's was good. Corned beef, maybe a Ruben I dont know. Fries were a bit limp but over all good. My chicken breast was rubbery, I ate it because it was the only edible thing. Lettuce was wilted. Tomato was hot? How? So I wanted the zucchini instead of fries ( which i got any ways. Can't lie I tried a few( 3 ) not as greasy and limp as hubbies. I said excuse me I didn't want these, her so you aren't go na be charged for them. However that was not the point. Don't they read in the kitchen. Ok so they 2 worse things. zucchini was el Dante, which means hard and more starchy because they were ,im not even sure how they did it, but all it did was create more starch. If you cook zucchini you either serve it completely raw and chopped or sautéed or steamed. Reduces starch. Needless to say I ate 3 of them and just could not do it. The lobster bisque was the worse fishy nasty bisque I ever ate. No amount of pepper or salt helped. No lemon wedges offered , so I tried my lime, helped a bit. Only ate half the cup. Agsin because I was starving. My husband refused to try it. Said if he could smell fishy across the table he wasn't gonna risk it. He didn't want to ruin his taste for it. Yes I probably won't ever eat it again anywhere. Really put me off. Should have stuck with a salad. Lol I see the couple from the reviewed too. Glad their waitress was good to them. She was ours too. Honestly, you are just now responding to a review done almost 2 years ago ( Oct of 2023) That doesn’t make any sense unless this happened recently to another customer. Your response is total nonsense. Just to recap: It wasn’t busy that day (almost 2 yrs. Ago). You wanted us to move to another table- because you reserved that table for someone else. As far as my family, you could have handled the situation more professionally. Party of 6 should be given 1 1/2 hrs from start to finish.

Original review almost 2 years ago: We had called and reserved a table for a party of 6. My family met there - some of them driving as far as 40 minutes away. We had an awesome waitress. The food was delicious. Here’s what ruined the whole dining experience, the manager or owner (I’m not sure) asked if we would move to a different table or leave because he had another party waiting for that table- he said he didn’t mean for this to sound rude but it did. I looked around and the same customers were still there seated around us. The waitress had just collected our bills and brought our money back. We were there 1 hr and 7 minutes. Thank goodness we didn’t order dessert- we would have had to leave with it. I felt bad for my mom (86yrs old). So sorry to say but I will never go back.

Response from the owner 3 weeks ago: You were finished for some time before we asked you to move to the bar area. It was a busy nite and we are limited on large tables. You should have informed us you wanted to stay for hours and visit with each other. We would have tried to accommodate your party.

Please note: ( almost 2 years ago) we just wanted to finish our drinks and enjoy a moment (not hrs) with our Mom. And again we were there one hr and 7 minutes- didn’t need special accommodations. You of all people should have handled the situation much better and your response should have been an apology. Almost two years ago🤷‍♀️-think about it. Let's just start by saying THE DOOR... Every time someone leaves the door slams behind them and it's very loud. The atmosphere was nice and enjoyable until the door caught you off guard once again. The food was good was very reasonable and portions were very nice. The service... That was horrible, we never been to this town before, we came here to explore somewhere new. We walked in and wasn't even greeted. We sat down at a table and we waited at least 15min for someone to come over to us or even say hi. The servers we more interested in keeping the lady sitting at the bar entertained (maybe she was an owner/manager? I watched her walk into the kitchen and carry out a cup of soup for herself) Once we were done with our meal we had to ask another server about our bill since we had not seen our server in some time.
