Went in yesterday for a salted caramel frap with oatmilk. Med. It used to be a seasonal fall drink. I get it. It's spring rn. But I asked if they had the salted caramel. They said yes. So I ordered a salted caramel frap. With oatmilk. I did not know I had to be specific in wanting coffee in it. I got the drink. No coffee in it. A TON of salt. So much. So much salt. Carmel fs. And yeah, oat milk. But no coffee? And no caramel drizzle? Went it to get it fixed. The girls told me that it was a miscommunication, and what I actually wanted was a cold foam. Look, I never worked for Starbucks. My sister did for 10 years. I'm not claiming to know everything about how yall make your coffees. But I'm pretty sure. It's not a cold foam I was asking for? But I said alright cause it just got confusing as heck, and I just wanted a caramel frap with the salted caramel flavor. Like a pinch of it. How it's made in the fall usually. I hate being a burden and have anxiety and sending stuff back. They remade it. It had coffee, and it was better. But by the time I took it out to my car and had 3 more drinks out of it, it was still ridiculously salty. Yes, I asked for salt. Not that much salt. And idk about your cold foam options. But I fs did not want dairy, so I was unsure of what the drink contained as it had no sticker. I never got to starbucks. And every time I do somehow, the coffee turns out messed up. I'm fs just going to stick with the French press. Seems like the only good place in town.
Edit: starbucks responded. And yes. I am aware they can remake the drink. They DID remake the drink. And it still turned out bad. I shouldn't have a drink made 3 times when it's legit a seasonal fall drink. You have a recipe for that. There was an extreme amount of salt both times. And the second time, there was no sticker or indication of it being dairy free. I had no way of knowing. The drinks were made with no care or consideration. And by the time I would have asked for it to be remade for a 3rd time. That's just too much. You should be able to get the correct drink at least the second...
Read moreI debated on posting this review, but find it important to share. I order specific drinks to match my diet restrictions, corn free and dairy free. Corn would be; citric acid, any "natural" flavorings, malic acid, in short basically anything delicious. I ordered my drink, it was handed to me and I went on my way. I was about three big gulps before I realized I was given the wrong drink. Not only was it not MY drink, it was loaded with everything I was allergic to. Two weeks later and I still am suffering the rash as a result. I went back to report this error and the gal acted like it was no big deal, until I asked what specifically was in the drink, then told her I'm having an allergic reaction and I need to know what the contents of the drink were. Then the manager got involved and it was taken seriously. I was given two $4 gift cards. The manager was good, she asked if there was anything she could do for me. This is good, however, this shouldn't have happened. This is the second time that my drink has been messed up at this one location. I'm not sure what the problem is, but special orders are usually ordered for a reason. Customers with allergy issues, beware of ordering (in general) but more so at...
Read moreI’d like to take a few minutes to talk about this store. It’s been my home Starbucks since before it moved to this location and I’ve met many of the KINDEST and most Amazing baristas here. I’ve mourned their loss as they’ve moved on in life and have rejoiced with them over their triumphs. I wish they were all at my new store in Kentucky when I move. Alana, Alaena, Bailey, Carter, Mari, Michael, Heather, Steven, Delaney and so many more. So many wonderful kids have passed through these doors. I’m so sad to leave this store behind and that I have to choose a new store and a new set of partners when I stop in for my drinks. As I was preparing to write this I saw a review by Bridgette Wood and was actually shocked. There’s no way she’s talking about the person I know. Alaena always has a kind word and smile for everyone. She greets people by name as they come in. Like anyone she does get busy but I’ve never seen her be rude. I’ve only had issues with TWO baristas that have entered and exited this store and they were for the most part dealt with. Thank you Liberty Commercial Starbucks for the love and friendship. Hopefully I’ll see you...
