The Triangle Tavern — Restaurant in Salem

Didn't have any food this time. It has been a million years since I had been too the Triangle, before the remodel, and I had to say, we had a great time. Went in for a hip-hop show, the sound was great, the crowd was into the music and everyone was having a good time. The outside smoking area is large, covered, and a good place to escape outside, if needed. THIS IS WHERE IT ALL CHANGED. The only downside to the night was closing at midnight, due to being under staffed for the event, WHICH IS THE LIE WE WERE TOLD. But actually the 2 bartenders didn't like that kind of people and actually started locking people out by 1130, separating some folks from others. After getting the full story from the gentlemen that put on the event, he was treated rudely and had to go back the next day to discuss payment with the owner. After many years and many shows, it sounds like many artists won't be back, but from the talk after the weekend, it sounds like they don't want hip-hop there anyway. Went there for a buddy's show he had there an the two older bartenders there where completely rude. Over serving people ( mostly her friends) took 30 mins for me to get a soda since I don't drink. Than I got yelled at for taking a smoke break an getting locked outta the bar when my wife was still inside. Than had one of her drunk friends playing security at the door not let anyone back in. They need to be fired. Most bars don't close tell 1. But these two old lady decided since they aren't getting tips because they are taking forever to get a drink so someone. They would rather kick everyone out. 0/0 this place is terrible unless your a 50 year old drunk who is there regulars. Daytime is very different than night,their food is no joke delicious,So Wednesday I went at night and it's a live jam along band then During the daytime it's a working people atmosphere,jukebox play anything and everything🙄.Ordered some of their Beer Battered fries,the price alone was deliciously cheap!!🎯.,On Thurs only at night they had 2 real djs playing classy 90's 80's classics country and REAL bass dance music, I don't go out much but this place worked out nice,Hope to come...
