My husband and I went to The Capital Grille in the Tuscan Village in Salem NH on Wednesday 7/9/25 for our anniversary. As soon at the hostess took our name for our reservation, she wished us a Happy Anniversary and then said she would just be a moment to be sure our table was ready. We were escorted to our table quickly and were extremely surprised and delighted to see a Happy Anniversary card and heart shaped confetti on our table, we were then served complimentary champagne. This was above and beyond our expectations! Our server Derek came over promptly and wished us a happy anniversary and took our drink order. We both had the Doli martini, and it was delicious. The service was nothing short of perfection! Matt, the manager of the evening came over to wish us a happy anniversary and toif there was anything we needed. Our server Derek was friendly, engaging and attentive. He was meticulous in the clearing of our table the second we were done with a plate or drink without being intrusive to our dining experience. We started with a lobster and crab cake with lemon basil aioli that was amazing. We then both ordered Seared Tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails with a side of the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten! The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the lobster tails melted in our mouths and were so tender and delicious! David, a managing partner, came by to make sure our dinner was cooked to our satisfaction. When our meals were done, we were presented with warm towels to wash our hands with before dessert. We were presented with a complimentary dessert of the capital grille cheesecake & the flourless chocolate espresso cake and the plate had Happy Anniversary stenciled on in espresso power. We also ordered the Coconut cream pie which was decadent. The presentation and care taken by the staff blew me away. I have never had such an amazing dining experience! We will definitely...

If I had to judge the restaurant based solely on our first 10 seconds, it would be an easy 5 stars. We were warmly greeted with a smile, and our 3-year-old daughter was handed a Minnie Mouse coloring page which was an unexpected gesture that immediately lit up her face and set the tone for the evening.
The service? Top notch. Attentive, thoughtful, and friendly from start to finish.
As for the food… it lived up to everything we’ve come to expect from The Capital Grille. The Kona-crusted New York Strip was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, especially paired with that incredible sauce. But the Filet Mignon? That was next-level. Tender, perfectly seared with a warm red center and a beautiful crust. Truly unforgettable.
Dessert was the cherry on top. The chocolate cake is a must-try. And in a thoughtful gesture that didn’t go unnoticed, the kitchen even prepared a special plate of mini cakes just for our daughter… a fantastic and memorable way to wrap up the evening.
We’ll absolutely be back many times over. Whether you’re local or just visiting, The Capital Grille should be at the top of your list for...
