My husband and I went to The Capital Grille in the Tuscan Village in Salem NH on Wednesday 7/9/25 for our anniversary. As soon at the hostess took our name for our reservation, she wished us a Happy Anniversary and then said she would just be a moment to be sure our table was ready. We were escorted to our table quickly and were extremely surprised and delighted to see a Happy Anniversary card and heart shaped confetti on our table, we were then served complimentary champagne. This was above and beyond our expectations! Our server Derek came over promptly and wished us a happy anniversary and took our drink order. We both had the Doli martini, and it was delicious. The service was nothing short of perfection! Matt, the manager of the evening came over to wish us a happy anniversary and toif there was anything we needed. Our server Derek was friendly, engaging and attentive. He was meticulous in the clearing of our table the second we were done with a plate or drink without being intrusive to our dining experience. We started with a lobster and crab cake with lemon basil aioli that was amazing. We then both ordered Seared Tenderloin with butter poached lobster tails with a side of the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten! The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the lobster tails melted in our mouths and were so tender and delicious! David, a managing partner, came by to make sure our dinner was cooked to our satisfaction. When our meals were done, we were presented with warm towels to wash our hands with before dessert.  We were presented with a complimentary dessert of the capital grille cheesecake & the flourless chocolate espresso cake and the plate had Happy Anniversary stenciled on in espresso power. We also ordered the Coconut cream pie which was decadent. The presentation and care taken by the staff blew me away. I have never had such an amazing dining experience! We will definitely be returning!

We live in this neighborhood and decided to give this place a chance. Walked in to the loudest restaurant I have ever experienced like a buffalo wild wings during the Superbowl. I was stunned. Conversation was virtually impossible. Service was reasonably quick and came at a reasonable cadence. We ordered all at once so there wasn't much to do. Drinks were ok. Got a Cosmo and a signature martini. Neither were particularly good and had a watery post taste. Might be the vodka choice but wasn't living up the hype. Had the tuna tartare for an appetizer. That was fine. Didn't have enough chips ended up using the bread to finish. Nothing exciting just an average appetizer. For the mains we went with scalloped potatoes , veal and scallops with risotto. The risotto was slightly crunchy and underdone. Scallops were perfect though. Veal was cooked perfectly with a great mushroom base. Again nothing exciting just a very average meal minus the risotto. For the area this place is great. In general it's average to below average. Premium price at less than premium experience.

This was my birthday dinner. I didn't want to go far or go into Boston for a good steak dinner so I was pretty happy a Capital Grille opened up 15 minutes from us in New Hampshire. I've only been to one Capital Grille and that was on Long Island. Unfortunately we waited at the bar and never got a table since the place was packed. Still a great experience with great drinks and one of the best French Onion soups I've ever had. Now a few years later I was amazed to actually be seated at a table and enjoy the full experience. Everything from start to finish was great. My wife ordered the crab & lobster cake and she raved about it. Of course I got the French Onion Soup which was spot on. It was amazing. My wife had to try it and finish it since it was so good. I had the peppercorn crusted steak. It was so good. Everything from the lights, drinks and Bill Russell painting made feel at home. Great spot. I've been to Ruth's Chris Steak House,Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse & The Stockyard Restaurant all good steakhouses but I'll stick with Capital Grille.

I recently had the privilege of dining with my wife and two kids at The Capital Grille in Salem, NH, nestled in the charming Tuscan Village, and words can hardly capture the sheer magic of the experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and elegance, where every detail whispered sophistication and care. The service was nothing short of extraordinary—a symphony of attentiveness, kindness, and genuine passion. The staff anticipated our every need with a grace that made us feel like cherished guests in a dear friend’s home. Their knowledge of the menu was impeccable, guiding us through selections with enthusiasm that was utterly contagious. It’s rare to encounter such a team that pours their heart into ensuring every moment is flawless, and for that, I am deeply grateful. The food—oh, the food—was a revelation, an invitation to a world of flavors that danced across the palate with breathtaking intensity. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with precision and artistry, bursting with vibrant, harmonious notes that lingered long after the last bite. From the perfectly seared steaks to the delicate accompaniments, every plate was a testament to culinary excellence, a celebration of taste that felt like a gift to the soul. Yes, The Capital Grille is a touch pricey, but let me assure you—every single dollar is worth it. This isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience that elevates dining to an art form, a memory to treasure. To the entire team at The Capital Grille, congratulations on creating something truly remarkable. You’ve built more than a restaurant; you’ve crafted a haven of joy, flavor, and connection. I cannot...

From the moment we walked through the doors, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. If I had to judge the restaurant based solely on our first 10 seconds, it would be an easy 5 stars. We were warmly greeted with a smile, and our 3-year-old daughter was handed a Minnie Mouse coloring page which was an unexpected gesture that immediately lit up her face and set the tone for the evening.

The service? Top notch. Attentive, thoughtful, and friendly from start to finish.

As for the food… it lived up to everything we’ve come to expect from The Capital Grille. The Kona-crusted New York Strip was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, especially paired with that incredible sauce. But the Filet Mignon? That was next-level. Tender, perfectly seared with a warm red center and a beautiful crust. Truly unforgettable.

Dessert was the cherry on top. The chocolate cake is a must-try. And in a thoughtful gesture that didn’t go unnoticed, the kitchen even prepared a special plate of mini cakes just for our daughter… a fantastic and memorable way to wrap up the evening.

We’ll absolutely be back many times over. Whether you’re local or just visiting, The Capital Grille should be at the top of your list for...
