Caffe Artisan Espresso Bar & Coffee Co — Restaurant in Salem

Went in while walking around on a nice day night. Very busy, a lot of people but not overwhelming. I decide to come here instead of the market. Looks super cute and nicely decorated. The manager was counting money and told me to hang on. So I did, for longer than I anticipated. She seemed more into what she was doing and I felt like it was ok for me to stand there all day. Finally a girl came over and I ordered a latte. Wand is broken, can’t order anything hot. I asked for a regular coffee and that was doable. The girl was annoyed and probably should have just went home. Don’t seem to bother the manager who could have either closed the store or maybe put a SIGN up saying so so I don’t ask for 2 things before telling me you can do any of it. And could have just went to the market.

Attached to the beautiful hotel, it should do better.

Don’t get me started on the empty cream container lol she threw a Hood half and half on the counter for me. Typically I would have put it on the table where they all went but figured her angry butt can do it herself. I won’t be back, which is sad cuz my regular hot coffee...

They have a $5 salted caramel latte. It's not great, ocean water at the bottom of the cup.

Annoyed that they charge $0.50 for the caramel! I didn't ask for anything extra.

It wasn't a mistake. These kids are put in front of customers in a compromised position, told to over charge, and probably most people don't say anything.

The service grade isn't for the kids, it's for the management. Honestly, the salt level made these drinks...

After ordering a double espresso macchiato, I was served what I’d describe to be a cross between a latte and a cappuccino. When I brought it back, I asked for what I was expecting a macchiato to be: a double shot of espresso with a dollop of foam. I was asked if I actually wanted an “Italian macchiato” instead of the “American macchiato” …to which my was…yes? My fixed drink was kind of a smaller version of my latte/cappuccino…so my guess is every offering is just a latte with various...
