I bought cheeseburgers from Wendy's (for my CHILDREN, my Fiance and I) and honestly there was ONE TINY SPOT in the middle that was actually cooked. And the rest was BRIGHT RED. I'm not talking a little pink cause then I may have just ate it anyhow, but RED like it had been cooked maybe a minute or so (they're tiny patties, it can't take too much to cook it, right?!) I work for MRDD patients close to this Wendy's and when this happened my Fiance had brought me lunch to work and also purchased my girls (aged 3 and 7) and himself meals as well. Of course I wasn't just sitting there quietly when I seen the inside of the patty and spit my whole first bite out of my mouth back onto the wrapper. When my House Manager overheard me talking about how red my burger was, she was astonished because she said the SAME THING happened to her THE DAY BEFORE. Obviously someone needs retrained on how to cook a tiny hamburger patty that probably takes no longer than 5-10 minutes to cook (because they're so thin). And when I called, the manager of Wendy's seemed completely unconcerned that they had potentially been feeding undercooked meat to customers for at least the last two days prior to me calling. So I'm assuming they don't know the true dangers of doing something like this. For her being a manager she should have been trained on Food Safety, which is one of the most important aspects of running a food service business. Her lack of knowledge about undercooked meat obviously has been handed down to the employees also, or maybe they really just don't care because they won't have any of it fall back on them when someone gets sick or even potentially dies. And for it to happen TWICE to two different people in TWO DAYS is completely mind blowing. I'm sure we weren't the only two customers receiving undercooked meat products. And when I called I was offered to bring in my cheeseburger to get another cheeseburger to eat. Are you kidding me?! How about my money back because I will NEVER take any chances again eating at Salem, Ohio Wendy's with the hope that they may start actually cooking their...
Read moreThis Wendy's sucks everytime. I placed a mobile order. In the app, it states I am just to tell them I have a mobile order when I pull through the drive thru and they will make the food when I get here. Well, I told them my name and when I pulled up, they said the food has been made for a while. What?? I said this food is cold and asked to get it remade, bc of this. The lady with the colored hair at the window argued with me and made me feel like it was my fault. Instead of saying sorry or we'll remake this right away, she guilt tripped me. Where's the customer service?! Oh ya. They haven't had good service for years and they screw up orders all the time! I'm done with this restaurant, bc if my money can't make them do their job correctly, then nothing will. Don't go here!!!
PS I've been sitting here in the parking lot for 10 mins waiting for them to bring the remade food out. It's freaking chicken nuggets and fries. And now all of my frosties are melted that they handed me when I got here.
PS Again. I personally had to go into the restaurant and they gave me the cold food again!!!! They lied and said they remade the fries and they were still cold!!! Then I get a smart attitude when she handed me the food. She said in a smart voice have a nice day. So, I got rude right back and cursed at her.
Again!...
Read more!!AVOID THIS PLACE!! This is the worst Wendy's I've ever been to in my life. I've lived within a mile of this place for over 3 years and I've gone there maybe 12 times in that span. Purposely, I don't go ofter because every time, my order is wrong. But i like to give people chances so I try back. My order by the way, every time..... Is a big bacon classic, double, no tomato, large with a Dr pepper every last time and they've managed to screw that limited combination 12 straight times in one way or another.
Today I ordered the same thing and they gave me a burger in bag, I said I didn't order that, they took the bag and threw in a kids fry and gave the bag back and acted like I was wrong. Oh and the burger, was cheese, 2 patties and bacon, and that's it. Nothing else. Nothing that comes on a Big Bacon Classic. Today was also the first time the fries didn't taste like the fryer oil was older that the fry cook. So that's super positive.
I'd suggest not going to this location ever. Not one correct order out of 12 or so in 3 years is pretty bad. Just in case these reviews don't show location, it's the Salem Ohio location. I feel it important to really point out that location because every other Wendy's is on point every single time. I'll give my Wendy's budget to the new...
