I stopped into this new location today as I was excited that it had opened so close to home. I've been a loyal WINGSTOP customer for over a decade since I first experienced it in Arizona and to have one so close was supposed to be great, alas that was not the case. I went in to place my order, I decided upon a Medium Combo, 8 Wings plus Fries and a drink, I was asked if I wanted boneless or bone-in, I chose bone-in even though they are more expensive. The transaction was completed and I was asked if I wanted my receipt which i declined, saving them receipt paper. No time estimate was provided, no mention that bone-in wings take longer to cook than boneless. A family of 3 came in while I was getting my drink and they proceeded to consider the menu and make their order. Sitting on the counter, as part of a promo was a spinning wheel with potential prizes, I'm guessing it was part of the grand opening promotion but it wasn't explained to me what it was for. The family accepted their receipt and were then told they could submit a review using the code on the receipt and get a chance to win using the wheel. I guess, because I said no to the receipt I also said no to the chance to win, pretty lame but I figured it out and was only slightly annoyed. After waiting for about 20 mins the family of 3 received their much larger order and headed out. I was frustrated that a much larger order was fulfilled before my small one but kept waiting, after 10 more minutes I finally asked about my order and was told they were working on it, when I expressed my confusion on how the larger order was completed before mine I was told that bone-in take longer than boneless, that it was common sense. I don't know about you but I've never prepared wings in a commercial food setting, specifically one that is supposed to be about convenience and speed, but I'm pretty sure that 8 bone-in wings should take less time to prepare than 3 orders of boneless wings, especially not 10+ mins longer. The insult about it being common sense turned out to be from one of the owners, the one who took my order, the one who didn't set my expectations of time, the one who didn't give me a chance at winning something because I saved her receipt paper. I raised my voice and said it's not common sense to the customer and used the F word because I was offended by the slight and the situation. The owner dismissed me from the store and said I was banned from ever coming back in. Well, Salem is a small town and she just threw away several hundreds of my dollars as well as the business of all I influence. I'm very disappointed that the owner's attitude was not that the customer was important and was willing to insult her customer out of hand. Read moreFront of house employee saw me walk in last night and then didn't even acknowledge my presence. Just turned around behind the counter and got on his phone with his back to me. The store was absolutely disgusting, filthy. There was trash on the floor, a ton of ice sitting in the drinks machine tray, which employees saw as they ignored everyone and filled drinks, there was sauce mess all over the counter beside the drinks fountain. Then while I waited I could overhear the same employee who was on his phone loudly complaining about how tired he was and he then went and sat at a table and got on his phone again while moaning about how his feet hurt. Totally unprofessional. When I finally got my order it was dirty too, there was BBQ sauce fingerprints on the outside of the bag. Whoever the front of house employee was last night should find a new job, back of house seemed busy and were working hard. Disgusted and a total disappointment this being my first impression of Wing Stop ever. All who go there... May the odds be ever in your favor.
