Today I visited Private European Food & Bakery. New Owners are putting real effort. Their food is fresh always, Next door they opened FARZNA -Uzbek Authentic Food. Their food truck used to be in The Park before now they moved here. Chicken Kabab was out of this world perfect flavor, meat melts in the mouth. Rice plov was so great, that we felt almost high with the taste of the food. They offer a tea I am not big fan of tea myself but for some reason it went very good with the our dish. This is great place to bring a family on weekends They are restaurants open for now only Saturday & Sundays, but I am sure they will have to open other days as well later in the future because the tail of their food will spread and bring more people pretty soon. I visited Privet European Food and Bakery and was very impressed! The pastries were fresh, soft, and flavorful, and the homemade belyashi were a forgotten childhood taste! You won't find authentic Uzbek pilaf and meat (shashlyk) cooked over an open fire anywhere else in Oregon. They also offer a great selection of European products that are hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We're so glad we found a place where we can get all our childhood favorites in one go. Very good selection of sausage and fish. Lots of imports from Latvia. Customer service is unparalled. Many good treats from my childhood here. The only place in the valley to get proper pelmeni seasoning, and the bulk frozen pelmeni are very convenient for families in a hurry. The young man working at the counter is very kind, and the older gentleman is noble. A critical staple for Willamette Valley. Also a good selection of sprats. I have never had a bad experience here.
