Message to the owner,
Like many others have already mentioned and continue to mention about your waitress Ireland, our morning visit here was also unfortunately ruined by the dark haired waitress.
The last time we ate here was 5 yrs ago before I shipped off overseas. I made it a point to my family that on my return we'd be coming back right here during my holiday trip back to Oregon.
The experience and customer service we received though was unexpected and awful coming from this waitress. The atmosphere dynamic is ruined with the attitude she delivers.
Started with us being seated for 25 mins without her checking up on us once to take our orders. We went out of our way to get her attention as she wasn't being very approachable to our group. She snapped back saying she "assumed" we weren't ready. And so the tension began...
I began my order and asked for the half beef/half chicken with broccoli that we used to order all those years, she looks at me then takes her attention to someone else at the table instead. She looks at the other person and answers my question and continues to following up about my order to them instead. This other person was confused on why she's asking those questions to her and not the person currently ordering. I politely but sternly ask her that when someone is ordering that I'd appreciate if she would look at the person making the order instead and direct the questions to the one that's ordering the plate instead of someone else.
Her: So I was talking to her because I've seen her before, that's why I talked to her instead. I've never seen you before. Yeah, I don't know you.
If that wasn't the darnest answer!
We go and say we're all regulars and should treat us all the same, to which she answers:
"Well, I've worked here a whole year and never seen him, so I didn't talk to him"
We address her attitude after this and she expresses her displeasure with how I "came at her" in requesting proper manners/etiquette from her. She lost all her cool and professionalism right then and there. Making eradic postures, crossing her arms and raising her voice.
My family asked if we should go elsewhere as this waitress had already ruined our dining experience at this place but we weren't going to allow this waitress to ruin our return to an old favorite restaurant of ours so we endured her hissy fits.
Her attitude didnt get any better though even after giving her another chance, she just flat out didn't refill our drinks, talk with us or try to apologize or redeem herself. Some of our members actually sat there with empty drinks because she wouldn't come to us or some others who just didn't feel like getting her teenager attitude anymore.
To top it off, this waitress didn't even set up our tables at the start so my wife took it upon herself to go get us some plates from another empty table, my brother got the silverware with this waitress doing the bare minimum during our stay.
At some point she slipped the check at the far end of the table, minimizing any interaction. The only thing we got out of her was her yelling across the restaurant after she overheard our party ask about the bill to which she shouted in our direction from behind her register about how she had: 'already given it to us - a long time ago, ACTUALLY'. Literally yelling at us from behind the counter.
Holy smokes someone's gotta replace this girl.
No customer should ever be disrespected like we were this day. She's good at greeting and sending people off but that's about it. It's a literal coin flip on whether you get good or bad service.
I took a moment to speak with the owner after our meal and It'll be a long time before I and some of the members of our party return to this restaurant.
I feel sorry for the other employees working with her, there's clear favoritism in the work place and she will not be talked to or let go no matter how many customers complain of her immaturity and attitude.

My husband was eagerly looking forward to come back to this restaurant where he used to go to. He was so excited to take me to his favorite place but it was ruined by the lady who everyone has mentioned about. First of all, I felt a little weird about the way she dressed up and her hygiene. Her hair was long but not taken care of the way it should as the restaurant worker. Also she was wearing crop top and showing her belly. She constantly touching her hair like it was bothering her.
After we were seated, we had waited about 20-25 mins. We were completely unattended by her and we didn't even know if she was coming to take our orders. So we walked over to her and asked her if she can take our orders and she goes"Oh I didn't know if you guys are ready or if you guys were waiting for rest of family to come over first". which I understand that however as the restaurant worker, she should be the one who try to communicate with us mainly. It's just about the customer service to make sure that the customers are taken care of. While she was taking orders, she keep talking/looking at our mom even though an order was my husband's. My husband felt uncomfortable with her attitude so he asked her to look at him or have a conversation with him politely since that is his order. She was agitated/offended by my husband's words and she goes " She (our mom) comes here all the time so I know her but I don't know you (My husband). " It was incredible and such a questionable words I have ever heard from any waitress. After that happened, we all were speechless and absolutely sad. Since then she was very short with us as if she is not willing to spend time with us.
I'm the general manager of the restaurant I totally understand that working at the restaurant could very stressful and hard as we get many customers who has different favor/request. As the leader of the place, for our team, for our dear customers, I have to get rid of those people who has negative energy around us. I hope that the owner knows that and realizes that the impact of those negativity is enormous to the customers. Since this place has such a great history and great food, I don't want anybody to ruin this...
Read moreFood was ok but the waitress was just so pathetic that it was painful. We ordered a 2nd glass of wine and the waitress was confused. We couldn't understand what she was confused about. She wanted to take the current glass, which had some wine still left in it. I asked if she could just bring another glass of wine and she stared at us in confusion again and then walked away. She didn't bring the 2nd glass of wine when she came back and still seemed really confused. I asked if they were short on glassware and if she needed the 1st glass back. She said that they had wine glasses and that she was just confused. We were all baffled by her confusion as it was extremely simple. All she needed to do was bring a glass of wine. I thought maybe she was just bring cautious and didn't want to double stack drinks or something but that wasn't it. So I said to her, "when someone orders a beer, do you wait for them to finish and then use their glass again?" She got super upset at this question, though I said it in earnest and walked away and loudly talked trash about us from behind the partition. We were the only table in the restaurant and could hear everything she said. I came up to the counter to clear things up and see what was making her so upset but her attitude was beyond anything I've experienced in service. She was indignant and positively rude. We came close to leaving but stayed because we were hungry. We left a meager tip which is uncommon but we could not reward bad service. I thought the manager or owner would want to know. I know I would want to know, if it were my business, If only to improve service. So, I spoke with the owner and he really could not have cared less. After getting home and looking at the reviews. I saw more comments about the bad service and replies from the owner saying they would improve service but I just don't see that this has happened and I don't see that it will happen.
So, yeah, I'll do that waitress a big favor and won't be coming back. Again, the food was good but the service was pathetic and the owner response was...
