I came here because it was recommended to me. I have been to other Pho places, locally, and was told it would be a good place to visit for lunch or dinner. The menu is very clear, and easy to read. It displays photos of prominent menu items as well as listing prices, making dinner selections easy. Since we had just had lunch at Ike's, we opted for takeout. I have to say, the Pho broth is the best I've eaten. I learned from kitchen staff, that they simmer the broth for hours to get the delicious and desired flavors. Since their broth is the "backbone " of their soups (pho), they go the extra mile to make sure their pho has the best flavor around. It is no wonder, that this restaurant is a rapidly growing place, fast becoming a favorite for locals. The inside is what you might expect from a pho restaurant, but with a splash of panache--it seems that the owners had a talented artist paint two scenes for diners to enjoy, as well as the food. The food is wonderful, the ambiance tasteful, and staff, friendly and helpful. While the outside is unpresuming, the inside is far from that. I will, undoubtedly return, here, when I am...
Read moreI would have love to try the food but I ended up walking out because customer service seemed pretty crummy! I went into this place to make an order for takeout, I was sitting at a little table in front of the register looking at the menu when one of the waitresses walked by and I asked her what was good, while my head was turned looking at her the Buser who looks like a child was pushing a busing cart through the restaurant and rammed it right into my leg which caused a plastic cup to go tumbling on the floor the kid didn’t apologize the waitress who I am assuming is his mother didn’t apologize, she seemed more concerned with the plastic cup that fell on the floor so she went and picked that up and then completely walked away from me not even answering the question that I had asked her. That was when I left because The whole situation seemed...
Read moreThought of giving this place a second chance after 4 years. First visit was not great at all, pricey, rubbery oxtail dish. Yesterday, I ordered pho tendon, ok flavor & pricing, a bit oily. Place was untidy, not busy. The worst part was that the server was on his cellphone surfing/texting the whole time, from beginning, serving, paying, leaving. When I asked for a small bowl, since I ordered a large pho, he made a grimace and offered me a tiny plate meant for condiments. I said, “that’s not a bowl.” He later started cleaning up the undone tables with so much noise, as if he doesn’t like his job. I just stayed quiet, I didn’t want him to talk without wearing a mask the whole time. He’s lucky I even gave a TIP, which means “to insure promptness.” I can’t stomach going back to this place. I love Vietnamese food, not...
