Salinas Shopping Center — Local services in Salinas

SALINAS SHOPPING CENTER, SALINAS: This is not my home town mall, nonetheless, I was able to find the layout fairly easy to understand and located my stores, well enough. But that does not mean I like it. With too long a layout, drivers as well as pedestrians, have trouble traveling from one end of the mall to the other. I much prefer, either the layout that doubles back like the U, or something like the shape of a large C. I have been in those long, straight, laid out malls before, and I cannot stand them. I give up, long before I have my shopping finished. My feet get so tired, I simply cannot go on. Moreover, I've found myself driving around and around and around these long malls looking for a parking place, wondering which one was better--because I wasn't sure where my store was located on the inside of the mall...was it here, or further down, there? Now, as to the selection of stores--my vote, really great. Especially in the area of restaurants and fast food. My final word as to the mall is this, I am glad I don't live here, because I think I would find somewhere else to shop. I would come here to eat. RATING: 2 stars for shopping 4 for eating equals...
