Went to this location today for their special on the Sundaes. We go practically every Monday and this Monday, I got what I get every time which is a vanilla sundae with pineapples and pecans. Immediately I could tell that the pineapples had a funny taste, so I told my mom to look at her sundae ( she got the same thing) and she could tell something was wrong with her pineapples by the look of them. So we head back to the store, to notify them. By the time we got back, my stomach had began hurting and I felt sick. I did not want anything else, but was told they DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS! They made it clear that they would make me something else but why would I want anything else from them, when I've already become sick??? Then I asked for a manager and was told, there isn't any just the owner. Then I was told that I can leave my name and number for the owner to contact me about my refund!! This to me is unacceptable. The young lady who took my information confirmed in front of other customers that she checked the pineapples and they WERE INFACT NO GOOD! If anyone who reads this review have any idea of how I can escalate this issue I would really appreciate any advice. I did not raise my voice, didn't even pull my phone out and record the young lady because we have too much of that going on in America, but to refuse to give me a refund is unacceptable. I should not be made to consume anymore products from this location when they have already...

This...THIS is a great place for wantful, rather than needful..."food." I've been coming to this particular location for well over 30 years; and they continue to give you precisely what you think you want...for a price, if it turns out you want some elaborate variation on what they normally would serve as a menu item (you know...like a "medium" Banana Blizzard IN a "large" Blizzard cup, filled to the top with hot fudge??. Of course that will cost a bit more! Worth every dime!) My understanding from a quarter century ago is that this is an associate store, rather than a "company store," which seems to mean very little except that they continued dishing out old fashioned Dairy Queen treats - like your parents enjoyed - while staying in their historically old-fashioned-looking store, and certainly not having room for all of the "health foods" (sandwiches, salads, stuff like that) being introduced into modern locations! This...THIS kind of operation is WHY Warren Buffett bought Dairy Queen, to begin with!! And I'm guessing the profit margin of one of these walk up stores is actually much greater then trying to turn Dairy Queens into a sit-down restaurant, with all the expenses of maintaining additional building space, wait staff costs, etc, when the majority of customers just want a cone of soft serve ice cream, or a hot fudge and or black cherry...

So many summer memories have been made here. This is a landmark in Salisbury. They have been running this place for over 40 years very efficiently. Has the three C's of which is cleanliness, cost-effectiveness, and some of the best customer service you will ever find in our area. They serve a type of soft serve ice cream that many folks have tried to duplicate. But there's some kind of secret ingredient that makes their soft serve the best in the business. They have novelties that run from simple Dilly Bars all the way up to the Colossal banana splits. They also have dipped cones. And of course everybody knows some of the best blizzards in the business. Also not to forget the pecan mudslide , along with the peanut buster. And of course everyone loves their ice cream sundaes. Come and enjoy an institution in Salisbury. This place has quite a lot of memories so come and make one for yourself today. These people will treat you right. May God be with us during this trying time in our nation. May you take time for God daily and pray continuously for our nation. May God...

This Dairy Queen Store in Salisbury, NC was a quick and convenient pit stop to get some icecream on our way back to Charlotte. They’ve an array of soft serve ice creams and sundaes along with burgers and fries. We got the black cherry soft serve and a hot fudge sundae. Both tasted awesome, and at around 3 dollars and some change for each icecream, the prices were pretty reasonable. Check out their daily specials while you’re here. It’s mostly geared toward to-go customers, hence there’s just one bench outside for seating. The store is quite conspicuous; so you can’t miss it. The servers were kind and polite. Parking is available.

Ordered the option of having two flavors mixed together, chocolate and coffee. This was the most disgusting excuse for ice cream EVER. I am *not* lactose intolerant, but my stomach is aching from the 2 spoonfuls I had. The ice cream looked like old, clotted milk with chunks of runny chocolate sprinkled on top. It was inedible. If you like clotted, cottage-cheesy looking ice cream, then this is the place for you. Suffice it to say I will not waste another dollar here. I suggest you do the same. *vomits profusely* PS - They only accept cash. Perhaps step into the 21st century..?

Old style Dairy Queen Store built in 1950 with no inside dining room or a drive thru window. For service you park and walk up to the window to order your food. My grandson and myself stopped after attending the Cheerwine Festival and got soft serve chocolate dipped ice cream cones to eat on the trip back home. .
