Food Lion — Local services in Salisbury

MOST CURRENT REVIEW Customer service is still dead and food lion doesn’t enforce social distancing at all... leaving this responsibility to individuals to do right thing just doesn’t work! Individuals don’t care until it happens to them. And FL dang sure doesn’t care as long as your money is being spent in its stores! Food lion does NOT care about its communities and the people in them. Just the money. (And only shopping for instacart not myself!)

ORIGINAL REVIEW Customer service is dead. And lately theres always food lion mgmt, execs, emps roaming their floors and they ALWAYS ignore customers which blows my mind but explains a lot. Go here for location, prices, so as not to deal with Wal-Mart location, crowd. I truly miss local, non-corp stores. Im working my way to buying online thru Amazon. I actually like this food lion and although it's somewhat antiquated due to its age ( it's literally food lion store #1) so it has many things missing the larger new stores carry, it's convenient and staff is pretty friendly .As 20 plus year grocery store manager and dept manager I do take issue with the deli department, they will keep thier backs turned to you for 10 minutes and not offer to help you. It's happened twice ,I've told store management twice and last week itg happened to my friend andc his son ,who also complained . Store management does not seem to care .it's not the only man back there it's the specific group of girls complaining loudly about thier home life. This is why they...

I am disabled. I need a cart at times & some times walk the store if it's just a couple items. Foodlion always have carts plugged in and most of the charged. That's a blessing for us. They may charge a bit more for their items then Walmart, but, you don't have to hope you can get a cart. If not, I've drove there for nothing. I think Foodlion has better meats & better quality of products that sell.. The workers there are always friendly and willing to help you find any item they can and don't act like your bothering them. Then I have to help with groceries getting them in my car and...
