Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Salisbury

Update _ March 2024: We returned to this particular Krispy Kreme on day 18 of our 10,000 mile railfanning adventure because one year ago we were treated so kindly by the staff at this location (as we'd never been in a Krispy Kreme before) We arrived today and the staff were...less hospitable. No problem. We just ordered and ate our donuts, watched the process for a while and left. It was nice to have arrived in time for a limited time donut event though (st Patrick's Day donuts) The filled (cookies and cream filled st Patrick's day themed) donut that I got was almost all dough...barely a smidgen of gooey gooey creamy goodness inside :( It was pretty to look at though My donut loving partner was surprised that 6 donuts costs over $13

March 2023: 5 stars!!!! This was my first visit to a Krispy Kreme and the staff were SO NICE!!! They offered to take my photo and offered me a free paper hat and showed me the donut making process...which you can see through the glass wall! LOVE this Krispy Kreme. For years they have been amazing. & I'm sure they will stay this way.

Only things I don't like is that I noticed they got rid of the full sized (biscuit like or whatever you want to call it) Vanilla Creme Filled donuts. I don't like them as well in the ring shape. The creme falls out more & is less sweet somehow. On top of that you get much less creme. I'd definitely buy them more often the way they used to be that I would have since a tiny kid. Sad to see my favorite childhood-adult donut disappear & changed. So 2nd best & closest donut I get to it is the Cake Batter.

Only other many years complaint is the lot it is on. I love the location but always wanted a bigger place to park & wait in a longer vehicle line. Also wish it was closer to the west side but as I said the location is already close to perfect being in the center of things.

Hopefully soon another perfect Krispy Kreme will pop up on the west side near Mt. Ulla or legit anywhere. Many Krispy Kremes are needed in Rowan County, Concord, Mooresville, China Grove, Charlotte, etc..

I’ve been coming to this Krispy Kreme drive-thru for 3 years and have always had great service—until I encountered the morning crew recently. A staff member named Maria was extremely rude and refused to provide the specific item I requested. I’ve never had a bad experience here before, so this was very disappointing. Management should address this behavior so loyal customers don’t feel disrespect, when I pull up thru the drive thru window I could tell they were talking bad about us, my two year sitting in the back sit asking for his hat which the afternoon staff usually gives it to him right away was never giving to him very disappointed ☹️.
